This is the closest pizza I've tried in Australia to the style of pizza they do in New York. Large, large slices. Thin bases with the perfect balance of chew and crisp. Not floppy. There are huge metal pizza dishes on display inside, each with a different flavour of pizza on top. I saw classics like margherita, pepperoni, mushroom and some other specials. All pizzas were ready to be sold by-the-slice, and every time a particular flavour sells out, it's refilled pronto. When you pick your slice, it gets placed in the mini-oven for half a minute just to crispen it up and re-melt the cheese. It's $5 a slice here, or $32 for a pie (what they call the whole thing over there). I loved the pepperoni. The texture of the pizza was just right, and it had just enough cheese and just enough pepperoni to take me back to my university placement month in NYC for a moment. My chunky self was eating a slice a day over there. I had that Ash Ketchum "gotta catch them all" mentality LOL. You'll find Pizza Pizza Pizza in another one of Melbourne's beautiful lanes, inviting you in with its yellow neon light and a funny slogan (see the last pic ๐Ÿ˜‚). I really love how this city makes such great use of their backstreets. And yes, that pizza tasted particularly good after a night out on the town. The coolest part? There's a whole secret cocktail bar behind a curtain out the back. Just another reason to visit again on my next Melb trip! ๐Ÿ“ Pizza Pizza...

Great little spot, hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfare. The entrance is via their takeaway desk - so walk straight on through to an intimate setting inside. Awesome booths and tables set up - we snagged a table for five and went about ordering. Now, fair warning the pizzas are big - as in 18inches or 45cm or as large as a hub cub or standard vehicle. They have a nice range of selection and cans do vegan cheese for either the lactose intolerant or the vegan inclined. The cocktail list isn't exhaustive but the wait staff outline - ask and you shall receive. A selection of craft beer, bottled only is available for those prefering a good beer and pizza combination. The atmosphere and food was great, highly recommend for a pizza outing...

Pizza Pizza Pizza hidden bar is a cozy little spot in Melbourne that serves up delicious pizzas and drinks. The atmosphere is laid-back and intimate, with dim lighting and a speakeasy vibe. The pizzas are the star of the show here, with a range of creative toppings and crispy, thin crusts that are cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven. The drinks, on the other hand, are just okay. While they have a decent selection of cocktails and beers, they're not particularly memorable or outstanding. That being said, the prices are reasonable and the service is friendly and attentive. Overall, I would recommend Pizza Pizza Pizza hidden bar for its tasty pizzas and cozy atmosphere. However, if you're looking for exceptional drinks, you may want to look elsewhere.

Love a good hidden gem in a Melbourne laneway. Pizza Pizza Pizza does it well. A normal pizza shop at the front, a lovely unsuspecting bar inside. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered some drinks, pizza and chicken wings. Love the fact thag they do pizza by slice as we weren't too hungry and tried a slice each of their veg and pepperoni pizza. Pizza is good, not the best pizza you'll find in Melbourne but the overall experience was fantastic and the charm of the place remains the fact that it's hidden behind a pizza shop. Would be going back next time i have friends visiting from out of town.
