Prudence — Restaurant in Melbourne

Cool venue. I thoroughly enjoyed the 1-2 hours I spent at the venue until we left, when Melanie chased after us and started yelling at me for pissing all over their wall. I was baffled. Yes, I did use their male toilet within the first 10 minutes. Like any civilised person, I went into the male toilet, closed and locked the door, and used it like any normal person would. But apparently, 1 or 2 other patrons singled me out for pissing all over the wall. Unless they define their toilet bowl as a wall, I have no idea where or when or how this alleged incident took place. I was not even intoxicated the whole time I was there. Maybe Melanie was having a bad night or just overzealous about her workplace, but I believe it's not a stretch to say that false accusations based on hearsay does not constitute good customer service. Let alone being...

Tried this place multiple times as it's in the neighbourhood but they don't make even the simplest of cocktails right.

Margarita last night was not drinkable (less important but it was also served in the wrong sort of glass). It was simply not a margarita.

Dark and stormy is also a very specific drink. It needs to be shaken, and it also has bitters in it which they neglected to put. I would really suggest to the owners either (a) googling these drinks and learning how to make them or (b) charging very little for them. Sorrynotsorry but you can't charge for drinks like that when you don't know how...

The upstairs room with the blue wall is nice but they are a few trippy well-disguised tiny steps in the bar with little to no lighting//signage (i encounted 3, one near the door, in the toilets and around the counter into the back area). The steps are also quite narrow, such that i sprained my ankle going around the counter (it's also around a curve, so the steps were unexpected). The group of ppl on the table nearby expressed concerned but didn't feel like the staff working at the bar did until a friend approached them directly...
