Absolutely appalled with the service of Red Rooster Hampton Park. Ordered dinner (for delivery) at 7:30pm, and got a text that we sound receive our meal in 20 minutes. By 8:35pm STILL NOT FOOD. Called up and rang and they said âOh weâre packing the food now, should get to you in another 20 minutesâ. We lived 5 minutes away (wanted to see how delivery would be) and we said we would come pick it up, they strongly said no we will deliver etc. Then 8:45pm called back and cancelled the order, they told us that they were âso busyâ and couldnât rush our food. We then drove down 8:55pm, and there is 1 person on window and taking orders, one manager ignoring customers, and one person in the kitchen preparing food. If youâre busy â HIRE and PUT MORE STAFF on to attend to customer demands â beyond ridiculous. The girl at reception serving us â was so unfriendly, and seemed so disinterested in her job. We then got the same order we ordered online, at the store at 9:10pm, spoke with the manager Vikas who kept interrupting and said there was not much he could do, and offered a chocolate mousse. When we said that our order should be 20 minutes via text, he said sorry but red rooster work on a central system. And thatâs all he could offer â passing the blame. We had guests leave who had children, and was not happy at all with the service. By the time we got home it was 9:25pm to eat dinner (almost 2 hours from our initial order)!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew the girl stuffed up the order, calculating the cost didn't make sense to what I had ordered and that's okay, it happens..buuut... It was impossible to get their attention to find the issue and fix it. Another lady who was annoyed and standing at the counter unattended for 10mins actually finally got the attention of one of them all hiding in the back and asked if they could print me a receipt..which the girl printed a paper out, scrunched it up in front of me, chucked it in the bin, mumbled something then went back to the back and stayed there again. When they finally gave us the order..Yep they missed a whole family burger box, which they didn't prioritize to fix their mistake, instead we had to wait an extra 20minutes for it while the rest of the food got cold.    Read moreWe have been to the HP RR a few times until my wife had a very bad experience with their staff regarding an issue with a drive thru order. Upon arriving home and checking, the burger was missing the chicken patty, she went back to the store immediately hoping to get the order rectified. Instead of attending to correct the order, my kids were accused of possibly having eaten the patty as the staff member dealt with the issue was sure that she put the patty in the burger. Upon asking to speak to the manager, this staff member had self proclaimed that she is the manager herself and refused to fix the order in anyway. Rude behaviour by staff and less than average food experience has convinced us never to go eat at this...
