Roll'd Collins Place — Restaurant in Melbourne

White people pho. Tasty but soap flavour can be variable with strong herbs, less beef. For a chain, it's decent. My one gripe is the warm, never hot soup which means the raw beef can't cook and noodles remain hard. I always ask the staff to microwave the soup, at least 3 times for this branch, as no Asian likes cold soup. Staff are very nice. Quality is OK for chain. I generally avoid rice rolls unless made freshly qand the banh mi is fusion flavours. Stick to pho, and don't be shy to get the soup reheated. This place offers food that are overpriced, in very small portions and are quite disgraceful to true Vietnamese cuisine. I tried this place today since GYG next door was under renovation, and the offerings and the quantity was quite pathetic. I have also tried another Roll'd around 3 years ago and I told myself never again. I tried this again today to see how they are now and it's still the same.

I ordered the lemongrass chicken rice bowl there was very little meat with a pinch of salad that you run out of after mixing with quarter of the rice. Now I gotta remind myself NEVER...
