I had the pleasure of visiting Rollin 169, and I can honestly say it's one of the best Vietnamese cafes I've been to in a long time! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly and attentive, always eager to help you with recommendations.
The food—WOW. If you're a fan of authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I tried the pho, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful broth with tender slices of beef and the perfect balance of spices. The banh mi was equally impressive, with a crispy baguette and a satisfying combination of fresh veggies, savory meats, and just the right amount of heat.
For those who love a good drink, the Vietnamese iced coffee is a standout! The sweetness of the condensed milk perfectly balances the strong, rich coffee, making it the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
Everything is prepared with such care, and you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. Whether you're a long-time lover of Vietnamese food or trying it for the first time, this place is sure to impress.
Definitely coming back...

REVIEW: ♥ Rollin169 has a lovely owner who is so friendly and welcoming. He's definitely familiar with locals faces and is so personable! Service is great.
😩 The banh mi flavours are more westernised than your traditional viet e.g. no cold meats here - but there's roasted pork belly and pork ribs. You get to customise your chilli (none, less, normal). I found that the chilli I had wasn't spicy enough. 💲 In my opinion, the price is a little steep considering the bread itself doesn't seem to be baked on premises. It lacks a crispiness and lightness that I enjoy. ✅ Nonetheless, the mayo and the sauce in the pork ribs was delicious, featuring a decadent creaminess for the former and a savoury smack in the latter. Vegetables and pork was plentiful, a banh mi that was full and filling. ➖ The pork itself was soft, but missing a juiciness I would've appreciated. It was a smidge dry.
It's a small store that isn't open on Mondays, but great to see a new addition to the neighbourhood. I wish them...
