ORDERED: 🥪 Banh Mi Pork Ribs ($15.00) 🧃 Allie's sublime pine ($5.50) I spent $20.50 on my portion! REVIEW: ♥ Rollin169 has a lovely owner who is so friendly and welcoming. He's definitely familiar with locals faces and is so personable! Service is great. 😩 The banh mi flavours are more westernised than your traditional viet e.g. no cold meats here - but there's roasted pork belly and pork ribs. You get to customise your chilli (none, less, normal). I found that the chilli I had wasn't spicy enough. 💲 In my opinion, the price is a little steep considering the bread itself doesn't seem to be baked on premises. It lacks a crispiness and lightness that I enjoy. ✅ Nonetheless, the mayo and the sauce in the pork ribs was delicious, featuring a decadent creaminess for the former and a savoury smack in the latter. Vegetables and pork was plentiful, a banh mi that was full and filling. ➖ The pork itself was soft, but missing a juiciness I would've appreciated. It was a smidge dry. It's a small store that isn't open on Mondays, but great to see a new addition to the neighbourhood. I wish them all the best!

One of the worst banh mi Ive ever had. I’m sorry but people that gave 5 star must never had a proper banh mi before. It’s also the most expensive one I’ve seen. $15 dollar for a crispy pork that’s lack of flavour. All I can tasted are salty meat and the sourness of the pickle. The meat portion is small too. For that price should’ve give more. Overall very disappointed

Bought a selection of tart flavours for a working bee today - classic, rhubarb, lemon, pistachio, mango & passion fruit- everyone said they were the best they’d ever had. Awesome! Will clearly be back. Great service too. I ordered the day before, for collection in morning. Super easy.

I had the pleasure of visiting Rollin 169, and I can honestly say it's one of the best Vietnamese cafes I've been to in a long time! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly and attentive, always eager to help you with recommendations.

The food—WOW. If you're a fan of authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I tried the pho, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful broth with tender slices of beef and the perfect balance of spices. The banh mi was equally impressive, with a crispy baguette and a satisfying combination of fresh veggies, savory meats, and just the right amount of heat.

For those who love a good drink, the Vietnamese iced coffee is a standout! The sweetness of the condensed milk perfectly balances the strong, rich coffee, making it the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.

Everything is prepared with such care, and you can really taste the authenticity in every bite. Whether you're a long-time lover of Vietnamese food or trying it for the first time, this place is sure to impress.

Definitely coming back...

I recently visited a Vietnamese cafe in Kensington, where I had their Banh Mi. The Banh Mi was exceptional, with perfectly crispy yet soft bread and a wonderful blend of savory meats and fresh vegetables. This cafe truly stands out for its authenticity and passion for Vietnamese cuisine. The friendly staff and warm hospitality made the visit even more enjoyable. If you're a fan of Vietnamese food, this cafe is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly...
