so, i came to this place 45 minutes before it closes & there were 3 tables available but the worker kept saying that it might take a while for your food to arrive and if we can wait about 30 minutes or so we can take a seat and order & then when i went up to order she said your food might take 30 minutes to arrive even though i heard her say that a million times already & then i said it’s fine i’ll still order she said that after your food arrives, you’ll just have 15 minutes to eat because the restaurant will be closing in 15 minutes at 8:45. i totally understand that it can get quite busy but you cannot turn away your customers like that & keep telling them to make sure that they will close and that we will only be given 15 minutes to eat even though we made the decision to order. i feel like the worker could have been a bit polite about it but she kept making us feel like she didn’t want to serve us. anyhow, i really like their food but it’s disheartening to get such a unpleasant customer service. i hope you work on this a bit. #willnevervisit this location. we were just very hungry and the worker was very...

Read moreSinjeon is pure comfort food heaven. If you’re craving proper Korean street-style eats, this place nails it. The tteokbokki is the star—chewy rice cakes in that addictive, spicy-sweet sauce that warms you right through. Paired with crispy kimbap or fried snacks, it’s the ultimate combo.
The portions are generous, prices are fair, and it’s the kind of food that makes you feel instantly happy (and a little nostalgic, even if you didn’t grow up in Korea). The vibe is casual, a bit chaotic in the best way, and you’ll usually see locals and students crowding in—which is always a good sign. Service is quick, no fuss, just good food fast.
Perfect for when you want something filling, flavorful, and fun. Sinjeon proves that sometimes the simplest meals are the ones that hit...
