ORDERED: 🌯 The Mixed Yiros Wrap: Mixed meat (chicken and lamb) with homemade pita bread, tzatziki, tomato, onion & chips ($17.50) 🍟 Loaded Patates in feta and oregano ($11.00)
I spent $28.80 here!
REVIEW: ✔️ The Brotherhood Yiros & Grill makes the BEST pita bread I've ever had. It's moist and has really good structure (it's thicccc) as well. Highly recommend anything with their pita! 😍 ✔️ The Mixed Yiros wrap was filling. I underestimated the quantity, so I could have gone without the loaded patates. Could've saved myself some money!! ❌ Nonetheless, the tzatziki was refreshing and creamy, but I wasn't the biggest fan of the meat. Some of the bigger chunks were dry so it's not the BEST yiros I've ever had. However, it's the Brotherhood Yiros & Grill make it better than average carried by the great pita itself.
➖ My friends liked the chips. I thought they were on the good side of average! Unfortunately, I prefer my chips to be crunchier. They're more memorable that way. 💀
➖ It's not a dine in restaurant, but there is very limited seating outside. It seems like they've re-outfitted a shipping container, but it's a cool dedicated spot. ✔️ Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. I'd say roughly 10-15 minutes for the...
Read moreI have been back since I admit the pita Yiros was much better than my first experience here, but the patates loaded let me down here again. I was hoping for halfed or quarter chopped slow cooked patates, tzatziki & juicy lamb, not chips & dry lamb. Also, again, I sat out. The little street is full of traffic and pollution.
Anticipation was high coming to the yiros & grill, the smell of cooked meat over charcoal was getting me all salivating, a quick look at the menu & with voracious appetite i chose the meal deal, costing $28, $10 more then your standard pita. Expecting big things, when I popped open the lid, I was greeted with a vast bounty of delicious food, salads & meat. Shortly after I skimmed off the top layer of meat, I was met with an abundance of chips... I only ate most of the meat, and not all the CHIPS. Patates would have been a different story. I think for the extra $10 to up grade to the meal over the pita, it's not worth it, I was hoping for more meat and salad, not chips.
I'll be back, but only to try the pita wrap.
The outdoor seating is cool, but right next to a busy road, with trucks enging breaks and horns blasting regularly. There's a few 2-hour parks around, but be quick as peak hours...
Read moreTerrible experience here, went there for lunch with a friend of mine, he ordered first and I followed 30 seconds later, and there was one person there waiting for their order ahead of us. He got their food after 15 minutes, and yet my food came out after 30 minutes as they had some friends that came for lunch, and they decided to service them instead of their customers. 30 minutes I had to wait for a simple Gyros Souvlaki, which is not acceptable. Your friends and family will come back, but paying customers will not, don't forget that. In terms of the food, it was great if you are a Vegetarian, as the meat was non-existent, as I got a mixed Souvlaki and there was some meat on the top and bearly anything throughout the rest of the Souvlaki, and way too expensive for what you get. Will not be...
