Super Fish Shop — Restaurant in Melbourne

Used to go here close to 15 years ago. Was always amazing, huuuuuge servings. I mean huge!

One time we were in there and a 10-12 year old kid came in to order $3 worth of chips and the guy who runs the place asked the kid if he was gonna eat them all himself and when the kid said yes the owner exclaimed "you eat 3 dollar of chips! You fat little boy!"

We all laughed and laughed and laughed

Well the kid cried but then the owner gave him the cops for free so there's that

Super fish shop is genuinely the best fish and chips shop in reservoir and in my opinion the whole of Melbourne 😂. The portion sizes are wonderfull and the food is delicious. The owner Peter and his wife are lovely people, and always supply me and my friends with an extra potato cake when we order the $5 chips. Great fish and chips, even have pinball machines and skill tester to keep you busy while you wait. Really friendly staff and great value for what you pay. The only thing is they always put your food into plastic bags which allows it to sweat in the bag and go a bit soggy, unless you don't get a bag, it's a top place...
