Sushi Komachi Fairfield — Restaurant in Melbourne

I ordered 2x ramen in-store and returned in 10 minutes as instructed. Upon driving home, I discovered the ramen was provided in flimsy paper bowls, causing one to burst and spill all over my car and myself. I salvaged one bowl since I live nearby, but the other was a total mess, and now the inside of my car will need a deep clean and will cost me a small fortune!

When I called to inform you, I received apologies but no mention of a refund. The saved ramen was tasty, but the entire experience was ruined by this poor packaging choice. Please consider warning customers or using better containers for liquids. This was very frustrating.

Taka and Ryoichi have created the best little Japanese spot I have found. Both sharing a rich history of restaurant experience, they offer generous sushi rolls, excellent sashimi, top tier karaage and a bowl of ramen that leaves you wanting a refill - these guys have crafted something special down Fairfield’s station st.

Providing both white and brown rice options, they also have a range of Japanese favourites including the not to be missed chicken salad. So happy this sushi place has opened up in Fairfield! The staff are very efficient and friendly and the quality of the food is outstanding. I love their commitment to reducing packaging and waste, which is often an issue with sushi restaurants.
