We love A1. Terrific Lebanese food at very reasonable prices. We had the foldovers and tabouleh tonight. They were excellent. Great service too. We have always found the staff very friendly here and it’s very common to hear chirpy laughter from the kitchen area which is lovely. It’s not just the takeaway foods that are good here. The eat in breakfast served in the lovely side courtyard is utterly delicious. I had the big breakfast this morning and it’s huge and utterly replete with superb middle eastern food. I got nowhere near to finishing it. And, in an era where big breakfasts are regularly around $25, the one here is a mere $15.50. It is astonishing value. Oh, and the coffee is really good here too. This is such a great place. I can’t fault it. We keep coming back and back to it year after year. Well done guys!! 👏👏👏

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nouha’s Bakery Fairfield Nouha’s Bakery is one of the best spots in Fairfield. Their lamb wrap is an absolute standout. Tender, juicy lamb, perfectly seasoned and grilled, wrapped in fresh, fluffy bread with just the right mix of salad and sauces. Every bite is bursting with flavour and leaves you wanting more. The quality of ingredients and authentic taste truly set it apart. It’s clear that everything is made with love and care. The wrap is generous, filling, and incredibly satisfying. Perfect for lunch or a quick dinner. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, creating a warm, family-style atmosphere. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, you’re always made to feel at home. If you’re anywhere near Fairfield, don’t miss the lamb wrap at Nouha’s Bakery. You won’t regret it.

It was a cold day, and we were starving for breakfast. Around Fairfield there are lots of cafes but we wanted something different, so we picked the A1 at Fairfield, and it was good to see that they were packed with fresh food and obviously a long queue which was worth it for sure. The girl at the reception was very nice and showed us where to sit outside. It was a cold day, and there were pigeons flying everywhere, but when the food came, we were surprised with the quality and generous size for breakfast. It was simple but absolutely delicious. Well presented, warm and yummy. Definitely will try it again. Highly recommended for a Middle Eastern style breakfast 👌

To staff : please please be careful when offering gluten free / vegan options . I initially ordered a gluten free pizza and made it clear to the lady taking my order I was also dairy free - she told me all the the pizza had on it was a Tomato base with chicken . My pizza came out with a whole heap of cheese over the top that I could tell was regular cheese . I went and told them I am also dairy free and they apologised and made me another one and advised I could keep the first one if my family wanted to eat it . I received the second one and was happy , it was delicious worth the wait . I had a piece leftover of the second one which I boxed with a few pieces of the first one and took home .

Later that evening I ate my last piece of the second one and then took a closer look at the original one . I was shocked to see the bases were actually different ! I took some of the cheese off the original and took a bite and realised that was the gluten free base and the second replacement one I was given had vegan cheese and a regular base !! No wonder it tasted good !

If you are going to offer gluten free bases you need to be careful - you can make someone very sick . I am so strick with eating gluten free due to some medical issues and have not eaten gluten for a solid year only to find I have now eaten a full pizza !! This has completely put me off from ever eating here again . It’s not good enough to make these...

We got Catering done for our daughter's birthday party and I can't tell you how happy I am with the catering! The food was absolutely delicious and reached us fresh and hot. Infact, I found the whole experience from communication with A1 for the order till the delivery of the order pleasant and seamless. Nouha helped recommend what I should order based on my preference including quantities and changed the order several times because we had to postpone the party due to the lockdown and the day and the number of guests changed based on restrictions. Nouha would send quick responses and acceptance to all my requests and changes to the food order.

On the day of the party, food was delivered for free, on time and piping hot in neat and labelled packaging. Our guests really enjoyed the food and inquired where it was from.

We were already huge fans of A1 but after this first time Catering experience we can say with certainty they are absolutely the best!! Their catering menu is very budget friendly and everything is delicious and tasty. There are a lot of options to choose from including pizzas, pies, pastries, Turkish bread, dips and cheese platters. I think the menu can suit anyone's needs. Be it vegetarian, halal suitable or cost effective, they tick all the boxes well! Highly recommend for parties...

Nouhas Bakery in Fairfield truly stands out from the crowd of similar bakery cafes in Melbourne. While many places offer the same types of items, Nouhas delivers exceptional quality. Her breads and pies are consistently delicious – never dry, never tasteless, and generously filled. I especially appreciate that she doesn't skimp on toppings, which is a huge pet peeve of mine! You can often see Nouha herself working tirelessly, handling multiple tasks with impressive efficiency. It's clear she puts a lot of care into her business. In my experience, Nouhas is simply the best in class.

Beyond the excellent food, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes Nouhas Bakery a real gem. You feel like a valued customer from the moment you walk in. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the place has a genuine, community feel. It's clear that Nouha has cultivated not just a bakery, but a local institution where quality and customer service are paramount.

If you're looking for a bakery that exceeds expectations, Nouhas is the...
