Tabouli — Restaurant in Melbourne

I went in a weekday so maybe the main chef was not there...Nice atmosphere very friendly staff but baaaaaaaaaaaaàaaaaaaaad food ..I came to the restaurant as it has good reviews in google maps!! But it was bad experience ... I feel sad and angry that I spent money on this place ..very expensive for bad food that is really owful ... tabouli which should be the best dish as the restaurant has its name is not delicious .. with (raw -not soaked ) bulgur as u eat small stones ..I m sure the chef is not lebanese .. the chicken is full of smoked spices so u do not feel the real charcoal flavour .. it is faked faked and faked leabanese cuisine ... I think people just come for shisha ... go to Tiba restaurant and u will enjoy delicious food with good prices ..not as this expensive to get bad food .. last thing we wanted to take away some food as u pay 14 $ for 14 very small stuffed grape leaves and we give the plate for the staff and told him for take away he just thraw them .. we ate only 3 of them ... the manager said we will preparr other for u ..but we refused ... as they are not so delicious to waste more time ...I think if I was not hungry I'll leave the food and get out ...bad experience and notice no people eat in the restaurant which what I said...

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Tabouli, and it pains me to say that it was a complete letdown from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was met with disorganization and indifference from the staff.

Moving on to the food, which was the biggest disappointment of all. The menu boasted a variety of options, but the execution fell far short of expectations. My dish arrived lukewarm and tasteless, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The presentation was sloppy, with haphazard plating that looked more like a rushed afterthought than a carefully crafted meal.

To make matters worse, the service was abysmal. Our server seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers than attending to our needs, and it took an eternity to flag them down for simple requests like refilling our drinks or bringing the check. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for the staff.

Overall, my experience at Tabouli was nothing short of a disaster. From the lackluster ambiance to the subpar food and dismal service, there was not a single redeeming quality to be found. Save yourself the disappointment and...

Went there with a friend of mine and I can't commend this place enough for their hospitality. We initial sat at a small table but where advised, given the size of our order, we best move to a larger table which we did and they even helped move everything over for us. Even little things like how to serve or eat items we were trying for the first time enhanced our dining experience if not the scent of shisha and coffee that added to its relaxed vibe. The food was so flavoursome and I find myself hooked on the dips - glad I opted for the mix selection. Although, as a customer, I give myself a negative review for not being able to finish my plate because of everything we ordered- all so good, worthy to try everything....I might have to return on a completely...
