Came here for valentines day dinner. Got seated fairly quickly at our booking time and drinks came out fast. Our server was really engaging and friendly and happily took our order. Food took around 40min to arrive and was pretty good, just lacked a little something.
Potato and mushroom 🍕 - 4/5 Needed some chilli or something to give it a bit of a kick. A little bland however dough was excellent.
Garlic foccacia 🍞 - 3/5 A little cold and not cut properly. Dough was excellent (same as pizza) however felt a tad bland. Could have done with some salt.
Burrata 🧀 - 5/5 You can definitely tell it's smoked! Perfect to go dipping the foccaia in.
Arrancini - 4/5 Tasted nice and cheesy, a not as hot on the inside compared to out.
Spinach and feta ravioli 🍝 - 4/5 Again we just felt it could have done with something, perhaps some more stronger cheese on top? Maybe some truffle oil?
Tiramisu - 5/5 Amazing! We love our tiramisu on the dryer and denser side - we found it perfect in every way!
Nutella pizza 🍕 - 5/5 The freeze dried strawberries gave it a nice tangy kick on each bite which blended well with the praline and Nutella. A good way to round...
Read moreI worked at Teo’s for over a year, and genuinely loved it at first, amazing food, great team, loyal customers, and a supportive atmosphere. But everything changed when Gio became manager.
What was once a respectful, enjoyable workplace became tense, toxic, and dismissive. Staff were ignored or pushed out, and the environment grew especially uncomfortable, particularly for women.
Concerns were brushed off, communication became aggressive, and leadership made it clear that some voices mattered less than others. Unfortunately, leadership often arrived visibly under the influence or distracted, which made it difficult for staff to feel safe, supported, or professionally guided. That kind of environment wears you down over time.
If you’re considering working here, know that it’s no longer the team-driven place it once was. If Gio is still running the floor, just be aware that what happens behind the scenes doesn’t reflect the front-facing charm. I say this with genuine care, the people and the customers...
Read moreIt’s a long time since I have enjoyed a meal so much, if I wasn’t in public I would have licked the plates! We came across Teo’s driving past after visiting our son in Hawthorn. ( I think it will be a regular stop now!) We enjoyed a garlic pizza, a creamy Vegetarian pasta with Zucchini that was so tasty. My husband enjoyed his crab, prawn bisque and ink pasta dish.
When we thought it couldn’t get any better we shared recommended by our lovely bubbly waitress a trio of ice cream. Rockmelon sorbet, Pear & Apple crumble ice cream and Strawberry & White Chocolate Ice Cream. Omg the best ice cream I think I have ever had, not sharing next time! It was refreshing to have a waitress so cheerful, bubbly and friendly and really knew the menu. Don’t know her name but a pretty young lady with long brown tied back hair. Typical old style pizza shop atmosphere and deco. I only wish this restaurant was just around the corner from our home, what a...
