If you're in the mood for a couple of drinks with friends or family, and want to enjoy some delicious pub-style food, then look no further than this place in the heart of town. This charming pub offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly service and a range of tasty dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
We were greeted warmly upon entering by the friendly and welcoming staff. The gentleman that served me was always on hand to provide you with great recommendations, answer your questions, and make sure you have a great time. The pub's décor is modern yet cozy, with comfortable seating and enough space to spread out and enjoy your meal.
The menu is what you'd expect from most pubs with plenty of options to suit all tastes and preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a classic burger and fries, a hearty steak, or something a little more exotic like you'll find it all here. The meals are devilishly well presented and you can see that they take pride in their food.
What's more, the prices at are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. You won't break the bank here, and you'll still be able to enjoy a satisfying meal and drinks without worrying about the bill.
However, it is important to note that this pub is not particularly kid-friendly, as there isn't much for them to be entertained with. But if you're looking for a place to catch up with friends or family and enjoy a couple of drinks and a yummy meal The Belgrave Hotel is worth...
Read moreOn the 30th of June I brought some international paranormal investigators from the US to the Belgrave Hotel, the Klinge Brothers from the tv show Ghost Lab gave a talk on all things paranormal and was a great hit.
But the best part was the amazing staff and service.
Torey made sure our every need was met, food and drink, what can I say, the food was absolutely delicious, Paul in the kitchen cooked my rump steak to perfection, while Liam and Josh made sure no one got thirsty and stepped up to the challenge of making a few American style drinks.
When it was time first the brothers to set up their presentation, Andy was the man and had everything under control.
I look forward to coming back real soon and you never know maybe we can do more presentations like this, the patrons loved it.
Well done Belgrave Hotel.

The food was precooked and refrigerated then reheated… seriously how do you serve a stone cold soft boiled egg? A rare steak that’s cold? Tentatively we asked for a Shiraz please, only one option and it’s cheap and nasty served in a refrigerated glass because they don’t have any more clean ones when the place is mostly empty. Not only is it icy it gives you an instant headache. We only went here because everything else was booked out - if you come to Belgrave for a weekend away, booking is essential! Lesson learned for next time (there are some amazing places here 😉) but at least we had a laugh at the worst place we’ve ever been out to...
