Nup! Give it a miss! Mine was not a good experience. Got my order wrong. Service was sluggish. Food far from great, as in not v tasty, though prices were high. Sour dough bread looked and tasted like white woollies brand. Priced extras as $5.00 not making it clear it was $5 for each item listed. No salt, pepper, sugar on the table.

$5 extra for the avo over priced IMO. I didn’t taste a hint of honey in my berry smoothie as stated on the menu. Was it really berry or food colouring?

To be fair, the waiter was friendly but did not get the order right. The owner was fair about the outcome when I complained about the $42 bill for one. Decor is basic rustic at best.

They gave me treats for my dog. That was nice and unexpected. Nothing fancy though in keeping with everything else.

I’d say for a business in the hospitality industry, this business seems a bit mean, at best very average. food tasting very so so. Meh! Better places to spend my time. Not here! Sorry...

I can't believe I've been working around the corner in East Bentleigh for two years now, putting up with a pretty average onsite cafe, and haven't just gotten in the car and found The Ormond Provedore sooner!

Visited for the first time today, and had a beautiful lunch. The interior is a nice comfortable vibe, the staff are friendly and it appears their teas are leaf.

I had the peppermint tea, and it was excellent (3 cups worth for the money) and the soft beef tacos, which were also excellent. Food made with love, clearly.

My photo with the tea and empty plate because I didn't think of reviewing until I finished! Too busy enjoying it.

I would recommend this place highly if you live and/or work in the area, or are simply passing by at breakfast...

I had an hour to grab a solitary bite today and was quite let down. They had some busy tables when I arrived, so slightly slow service was totally ok with me. 20 minute wait to be acknowledged/coffee order. Another 25 minutes for my order to be taken. Further 20 minutes for some simple smoked salmon and pancakes (they had run out of my first choice). I watched all who came after me at the end of their meal before mine arrived. No real acknowledgement of shabby service, beyond 'busy day'. I only live about 500m away, but will roam further afield in future. Mediocre. (cross...

The cafe is nice and small. We got the table straight away when we went without booking on a Saturday around brunch time. We ordered a flat white and a cappuccino. The coffee was average and there was no latte art on it. For the food, we had Kale scrambled eggs and Asian chicken burger. Kale scrambled eggs was something different and was good. Asian chicken burger patty was a little dry. Overall the food was good and I will definitely give them a try again. Overall, it was a good experience, I will visit them again and checkout other food items they have.

It was a rather busy morning compared to the few times I walked past. This probably explained why I wasn’t getting any service for the initial 8 minutes. Nevertheless, I’m culturally inclined to think a busy place is a good place. My soy latte was good and the brekky brioche was delicious (picture didn’t do it justice). I’ll probably come again to try other food on the lunch menu, the bbq beef burger sounds interesting.
