Food The presentation of the food was lovely and my first impression was that the servings were generous (I had to takeaway one of the paratha). I ordered a Flat White which was good. I got the paratha (which I always do when visiting Indian restaurants) and this one was absolutely delicious. Perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside. It was paired with the dips and sides which were a little spicy, but that actually worked to my advantage since I prefer a mild kick. I also ordered the Eggs Benedict which tasted great as well.
Service The staff were very warm and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I placed my order around 9:20, and the food arrived in about 25 minutes. I appreciated how attentive the staff were and the server checked in before, during, and after the meal to make sure everything was spot on. Working in hospitality myself, I genuinely appreciate that kind of service.
Ambience The space had a cozy, relaxed vibe. It wasn’t overly loud, which made the atmosphere inviting and calm, especially nice for a breakfast setting.
Overall Experience I had a really good experience overall with breakfast last 23/10 and I’d definitely come back again to try their lunch menu next time. For me, the tasty food, generous portions, friendly service, and chill atmosphere make it...
Read moreWe went to this restaurant for dinner and honestly, it was a disappointing experience. After placing our order, we waited outside. The waitress showed up after 15 minutes with water bottles but couldn’t remember who had ordered what.
When the food arrived, the mango shake tasted completely off - like it had gone bad. The waitress first said it was made in the morning, then changed her story and claimed it was just made. Either way, it was clearly stale. The eggplant dish was also super bland with no flavor at all. Btw, We also asked for a tissue refill and even took leftover tissues from another table since there were none on ours, but she never came back with any.
We didn’t even touch the mango shake afterwards and left eggplant curry unfinished. The owner told us they didn’t charge us for the shake, which was appreciated, but then made an unnecessary comment about “Indian mentality,” implying we only thought it was bad because we were being overly critical. That was uncalled for and honestly quite rude. Both my cousin and I genuinely felt something was wrong with the shake.
Overall, the experience spoiled our evening. I was really looking forward to a nice meal, but we left feeling disappointed. Not...
Read moreThe Shahi Saffron took me back to India with their incredible food. I loved how authentic the food was. I felt like I was in India enjoying Indian food on a vacation.
I ordered punjabi butter chicken without bone, boondi raita, cheese chilli naan and paneer naan. The food was absolutely incredible. The spice level took me back to India so thank you so much for this experience. The naans were sooo tasty. I loved the crunchiness of the boondi in the raita. I highly recommend the butter chicken. They have different spice levels so you can order what you you are comfortable with.
As you can see in the pictures I’ve attached, the presentation of the food was incredible. I can’t get over how good the food was.
As soon as I entered, I was welcomed with a smiling face. I felt so welcome and comfortable. There were high chairs for babies and couches for folks to make it more accessible. The staff attended to me and were so kind. I love getting to know them.
