Uncle Leo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Melbourne

I received a rather unsatisfactory response to my review (see response below my review). My comment is:

How do you suggest I respond? You don't answer calls and, apparently, you don't receive emails! My order number was 1289, so you have contact details if you really want to do something about the matter.

I ordered a pizza online. It was "delivered" some 30ish minutes after it was supposed to have been picked up by the driver. When I eventually found the pizza (I had gone looking for it when I received a text advising it had been handed to me by the driver!!!!!!!!!!!), dumped on my front verandah (since the pizza was mangled, I can only assume that the driver had dropped it and didn't want to face me), I called Uncle Leo's to discuss the matter. I was immediately put on hold and then hung up on after a few minutes! I tried calling 3 more times but a prerecorded message told me I had to call another number. I eventually sent an email. 5 days later and still no reply. I guess UL thinks it has no responsibility once the food leaves it premises - even though it organised the delivery. Including delivery charges and card charges, I paid over $54.00 for a pizza that I ditched - I did no order onions, olives and capsicum squashed with my marinara topping!!!! Not the way to run a business. So...

Dine out first time in near a year time. Ordered 1 gigant MARGHERITA 1 salt & pepper CALAMARI with vegetable 1 CARBONARA 1 GARLIC BREAD 1 CAESAR SALAD WITH CHICKEN

Surprisely the pizza served less than 12 minutes with very dark coloured tops

Then next 50 minutes nothing served However after requested cancel the order the host told me it is almost finished cooking then it served first caesar salad it is horrific taste the leaves were warm bacons were taste like boiled or deep fried and dressing isn't too. Then carbonara served it was another disgusting pasta I ever had. Taste like warm milk with spaghetti and blenched bacon that I couldn't even eat at all. The last was calamari served with soaked chips not vegetable or chips were count as vegetable? And soggy calamari,,,,

While we are receiving other foods, friends of mine table started receiving pizza, pasta and salad they too whole food for an hour

First time visit to this Italian restaurant. On order pickup, I arrived after estimated time. First staff said order is not ready. Waited more than 10 at door, saw many customers coming in and out to pick up food with no wait time. No one called out m name. So I returned and asked a different staff again. Found my order already ready for pick long ago. Wasted my 10 mins wait time. So many staffs were busy chatting behind counters, not bothered to check on customers. With food, restaurant price was paid for pasta and risotto, expecting a restaurant quality food in a foil take away container just like many authentic Melbourne Italian restaurants would do. But nope. Cheap plastic containers were used. How disappointed. Taste wise, food had nothing to be remembered for. Overall, this is the first and last visit to Uncle Leo. Not worthy for extra dollars on...
