Very high recommended 👍🏼 - today I bought 3 almond croissants, 1 plain croissant, 1 spelt scone, 1 loaf of pumpkin and 1 loaf of honey oat ( all for just myself 😋) - it’s my first time ( I went on Woodfrog site and saved what I wanted to buy/try) today I went directly after checked open hours, after I got it all my bag, I first tried one bite of almond croissant ( purchased only one🥐at the beginning ) and then I had to walk back to buy another 2 more,,,, I loved it so much 😍 can’t complain anything from the taste of ingredient, size and price —- I love how its taste very home-made , so authentic, 👍🏼👍🏼 - ‘ best bakery in Melbourne ‘ for me —— I feel bad how could I missed this gem in the past 😭 - now I have found my new favorite stall where to get best bread...
Read moreOne of my all time favourite bakeries. I eat a lot of bread. I will buy a plain white sourdough loaf just to have for lunch when travelling - without any fillings or butter or anything. So I’ve tried loaves all over the world.
WoodFrog makes the most beautiful white sour dough, properly aged before baking. So many other sourdough loaves are not aged for long enough. Woodfrog does it without fail!!! Makes for a lovely tasting and crusty loaf.
We like their plain croissants too. (Not sure if they are sourdough; we don’t think they are; it’s not possible, is it?)
I don’t agree with other reviewers who say they’re expensive. A$8 for an artisan white sourdough loaf is not expensive when supermarket mass-produced bread...
Read moreProducts seemed good but their staff have zero customer service skills, don’t show initiative & not at all helpful. Was first time (& last time!!) customer lined up outside as required (on crutches too), happy to abide by rules of course, unbeknownst to me card only payment so they would not accept cash (had exact tender too) so they would prefer to miss a sale (& any more that would’ve occurred) than offer a solution very disappointing - so much for supporting local shops - I’ll stick...
