Top 1 Fresh Wok — Restaurant in Midland

After reading reviews on the fresh Wok Midland I realized that they have to be bogus reviews, my wife & I (a late seventies couple) had lunch there yesterday 1st Dec & we were served (given it over the counter, they would not serve to the table) the worst Chinese food we had eaten in Perth. The venue was dirty, the cook cooking the food coughed continuously over the food the whole time he was cooking which was disgusting & continuously yelling loudly in Chinese. I was a very unpleasant experience. I ordered Wonton Soup & Fried Wontons & wife ordered Sweet & Sour King Prawns & Steamed Rice. The King Prawns were not King Prawns, they appeared to be small Bay Prawns that were covered in very thick hard batter, they were so overcooked they were inedible, before we reached our home in Wanneroo we were both feeling nauseous from what we had consumed, I am relieved we didn't persevere & consume more than we did, even our chickens would not eat what we brought home. The Fried Wontons were nothing but fried Wonton skins with virtually no filling which was the same in the soup, just basically skins. I cannot understand how this establishment is still operational, I was not aware I could insert photos, that would have told the story. Used to love this place but this year the quality has gone way down. Tonight is my last of many orders. Flavour and texture is now below average. The steak for my garlic dish was tough and overcooked and they are now adding corn and cauliflower to everything, including the satay king prawns. Even their famous spring rolls are mostly tastless and heavy on the shell. Such a pity, the great flavour always justified the heavy price, not any more. Steer clear Update, I was fooled into thinking Fresh Noodles was another entity. It's not. Cunning way of distancing themselves from Top 1 Fresh Wok. Worst service I have ever received!! The woman that worked there was so nasty to all of us today. Between 11-3 you get a free drink with your meal and drinks would not give it to us. She pointed at the tip jar and said you can leave a tip in here. When ordering food my mate asked for no veg and the lady raised her voice and said you can't do that there was mostly noodles and no meat she asked for only bean sprouts and she tried to charge her an extra 1.50. Her attitude was awful she said she wouldn't serve us if we want to change anything from the dish. Very poor customer service. If your looking for a nice meal...
