To be honest, D'Big Mama Coventry Village, Morley was become my favourite all time food for South East Asia especially Malaysia and Singapore. I never Miss my visit to have my breakfast or lunch when I'm on RNR back from Mining. But unfortunately there is a big different in term of customer services maybe different people different style of serving. But it's does not mean, there is appropriate training to be Frontliner which has the courtesy and exceptional customer services. Previously others girl has good facial expression and courtesy communication. I came on today at 4.15pm, the small girl just jump in DINE IN OR TAKE AWAY. No smilling and GREETING AT ALL with judgemental face and underestimate certain type of customer. When i asked cutlery, just pointing where i can get it without apology or friendly attitude. If you have any personal or tiring with long shift workload, take leave and rest. Your image and attitude not just effect for you and company too while others "upholding a good name of DBigMama and work hard. Your ruin other potential and give a bad image too. It might be not big probs at the moment but for long run yes it will because of this toxicity. Be courtesy, professional and friendly. We not just into the food we eat ( which i gave you 5* ) but also your services. Maybe the this girl need more training and study more what the hospitality it...

We went for a weekday lunch with our friends who moved here from South Africa and who have a fondness for Asian tucker. We were last here for mee siam, mee rebus and satay but that stall was on a break for Hari Raya. We had passed D Big Mama and the huge menu board, with pictures, looked interesting. I opted for the bak kut teh (pork rib tea/soup). This is a medicinal soup and is the real thing here. It's as good as any I have had in Singapore or Malaysia. It came with rice and yutiao and a lovely dark soy sauce with cut chilli. Full marks for the taste and serving size. The others had the nasi lemak with crispy chicken. It came with half a hard boiled egg, cucumber, deep fried anchovies, fried peanuts, and a tasty chilli sambal. The rice cooked in coconut milk was nicely flavoured, the chicken was crispy and moist and not oily. Everything about this dish was good. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Credit cards are accepted. Coventry Market can be crowded but you can usually find free parking nearby. Weekends tend...

A new shop is open at 910 Albany Highway, East Vic Park, 6101 on 3rd Jan 2019. Congratulations! I just went to the new shop today. The food quality is exceptional and is as good as the original shop. Iced Malaysian black coffee is excellent. I love KL style food and my favourite here is Hokkien Noodle with sambal chilli, KL pork noodle (suprisingly, we can add 2 slices of Pork liver, yummmm!), Egg Noodle is springy like HK style, my favourite is BBQ pork with springy egg noodle, prawn Laksa is just good if not better than many KL hawker stores. Yeung Tofu Laksa is also a must have here. I never felt so fulfilled with KL food in Perth. The good thing is they are not pricy at all which makes me love it to bits.

Lots of parking at the back at Iceworks Lane which is on the back lane of the shop. Basically you travel along Albany Highway with Big mama on your left. We go past the shop and turn left into Dane Street and left again into Iceworks Lane. Lots of Parking available. I can see me here...

I read a lot of reviews on this place and decided to give it a go. Unfortunately, there is nothing too exciting or to rave about. To be very honest, there are much nicer food out there. I feel it is made better than it actually is might be due to its location in Morley. If you were in Cannington, Riverton, Thornlie, East Vic Park, etc, then the food here is mediocre. Design of the place is nice, cleanliness is good and staff is friendly. Price is normal but for the portion given, not worth it. I order pan Mee for $11.80, the ingredients is quite pathetic. Picture provided - 2 meatballs, some vegetables and some minced meat. Laughable. I also ordered the Ba Kut Teh (pork bone soup) for $13.80 was quite nice but again the portion of the pork was disappointing. The fried You Tiao was excellent. Would visit this place again if there is no other food.
