WORST VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT EVER in my life!! Food was OK. Not good but not too bad. Service was just TOO BAD!! Not enough staffs and staffs keep making mistakes.
We ordered stuffed chicken as entree, I ordered pho and my partner ordered bun. I asked "without coriander" but staff just ignored. I told "without coriander" again and she just ignored again. After she left us, I followed her and said "Is my pho coming without coriander? Just wanted to make sure". She obviously didn't write it down or didn't tell this to kitchen. She finally told this to kitchen. Kitchen staff and another staff were so upset, saying I'm the crazy customer that asked without coriander. They were so loud so my partner who has Vietnamese background did understand they are talking bad about us. I understand how they love coriander but not all the human love coriander. I like to go to Vietnamese restaurants and have been many places but but never been told that I'm the crazy customer when I asked "without coriander" except this restaurant.
So, pho came before entres. WITH CORIANDER and spring onion. WITHOUT chili, mint, lemon, bean sprouts.
I was waiting for 5min which was enough time for me to remove all the coriander and still all those herbs never came. I could see there were herbs and stuffed chicken ready in the kitchen and staff could just bring them. But Staffs never really care us and were just walking around for nothing, and I was watching them. The male staff finally noticed me and I asked "I'm waiting for herbs. And he was like "wow" and brought herbs and stuffed chicken which is not hot anymore. After that, my partner was waiting for his bun for a long time and finally got it. We started eating and realised we haven't got water or paper yet. We asked to get water and paper.
It was just too much. Enough. We wasted money and time here. Even the food wasn't really tasty. I wonder those good reviewer are restaurant's family or restaurant pay for them. Please never go there if you want to...
Read moreI have been going here for over three years as it’s one of my favourite places in perth. I will still continue to go here I just want to explain my recent experiences.
It has recently declined judging by my past two visits in the past two recent months June and July 2023.
The food is amazing can not fault it there is nothing wrong with the food.
The problem however is the service. The workers can barely speak English and it makes it really hard for orders to be going smoothly. Communication is extremely bad.
I dined in here a few weeks ago and I asked the waitress for a soft drink she said no. And I asked again if I could have a soft drink and she said no and that I can only get those jelly drinks. I didn’t understand why she kept telling me no as there was a fridge filled with soft drink cans in the resturant which I noticed after I ate my meal and only had water as I thought that was the only choice.
This week I have done a phone order and asked to make an order and to pick up. They said my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I came to the resturant 20 minutes later as I live 20 minutes away and another lady who could barely speak any English also couldn’t understand me that I was wanting to pay and pick up my order. My takeaway order was no where to be found and she processed the order for me and asked me to wait another 15 minutes.
Side note whilst I was here : For anyone that has the old menus please also note that they now have a new menu and all the numbers have changed so you need to explain the description of the meal even though it’s easier just to give the number of the meal, now that the numbers...
