Domino's Pizza Murwillumbah — Restaurant in Murwillumbah

Ordered vegan pizza & vegan cheesy garlic bread as there was a late night deal. Had to pay extra as they were vegan, that's pretty standard so no issue, but neither of the items were made correctly. Both had dairy cheese.

Even if I wanted to eat it to avoid wasting non-vegan product, I'm lactose intolerant & couldn't eat it. As it was late night I couldn't return it. Had to scrap off the top of every single slice, leaving just a smear of red sauxe. My receipt clearly said vegan on both items. Furthermore, that means I paid $6 extra for a product I didn't get.

Customer service very bad. No one said hello or acknowledged me come in. The man didn't wash his hands before touching anything so my receipt & box had bits of sauce everywhere. He didn't say the price before collecting payment, just held the eftpos machine at me. Didn't say goodbye or respond when I said have a nice night, just walked away.

Prices are insane. It's cheaper to eat out at sit down restauraunt and almost cheaper to hire somone of of airtasker or fiver to come cook for me. I always use the "deals", but they are almost scam with how many hidden charges there are. Want anything more than cheese and bacon pizza? that can cost you an extra $6 per. Want to take an ingredient off for an allergy? $3 per. Want a side other than garlic bread or a drink? thats gonna be $3-$10+ per. It ends up being $30-50 for meal (aproximately 1 value pizza and 2 sides).

They are skating by, by being a monopoly in the town. Theres only 3 or 4 places that deliver (mcdonalds, but only somtimes, a fish n chip shop and dominoes).

The food varies greatly. Which is to be expected of a fast food place largley staffed by children. Thats understandable. Ive never gotten anything inedible.

The delivery drivers have all been great over the years. One even bowed to me, which im not sure whether that was part of some sort prank or whether the kid was just nervous and thought thats what good...

I don't often feel complelled to write a bad review, but this dominoes branch has terrible customer service. I called to order as the app has stopped providing the options for additional ingredients I needed for some reason. The guy answered with "hello?" I thought I had called the wrong number. He didn't ask if I wanted delivery or pick up, he assumed I was going to pick it up. I had to ask if he could please take down my address for delivery. He also didn't ask what time I wanted it delivered, just said OK it'll be there soon... I called at 3pm and wanted it for dinner at 6pm. I had to to yell down the phone to stop him from hanging up on me so I could tell him to deliver it at 6. He also had trouble operating the card machine so payment was a bit difficult. He didn't read back my order to me or even tell me the price without me prompting him. Makes me wonder if these kids are even given a basic level of training before being thrown in...
