I recently visited Lynches Pub in Narooma and felt compelled to share my experience, particularly regarding the management. As the general manager, I believe it's crucial for you to be aware of the issues that occurred during my visit.

First and foremost, the service was incredibly slow and disorganized. It took an unreasonably long time for our orders to be taken, and even longer for our meals to arrive. When they did, the food was lukewarm and not up to the standard expected from a pub in such a lovely location.

What was even more disheartening was witnessing the general manager turning away patrons at the door. Several individuals were treated with open judgment and homophobia, which created a hostile and unwelcoming environment. It's unacceptable for a place that should promote inclusivity to exhibit such discriminatory behavior. This not only reflects poorly on the establishment but also alienates potential customers who just want to enjoy a good meal and a friendly atmosphere.

I had high hopes for Lynches Pub, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. I sincerely hope that improvements can be made under your management to enhance the overall dining experience for future patrons and foster a more welcoming environment...

Went to dinner with my 2 adult kids. Start by ordering, everything including drinks, and dessert is ordered via a qr code, asked if I would like to tip (default setting was 10%) umm NO !! Tipping used to be given for good service, up to this point the "SERVICE" was non existent, zero service so no I didn't tip. $30 for a pub schnitty 3 types or Gravy ordered all 3 inedible. Chicken Gravy texture and consistency was slimy, mushroom Gravy had zero mushrooms. The schnitty was thin and overcooked Our meals AND dessert came out together, that's right brownie and ice cream came out with mains and it was melting by the time it hit the table so imagine it by dessert time...brownie and puddle of ice cream !! Meals were dumped on the table, not in front of the ordered, just dumped with the brownie half melted icecream. No eye contact, no smile, No cutlery and had to ask where our drinks were. Drinks still hadn't arrived by the time we finished our meal. 1 schnitty 1 parmi 1 kids schnitty 1 brownie vanilla puddle and 3 Cokes $130 What a disappointment !! I'm a local and can only imagine the lasting impression a meal like this will have on the tourists currently in town. It's locals that carry restaurants, cafes etc through the non holiday periods and this local...

From a patron's point of view, this is by far Merivale's least successful venture in Narooma in my view, the Quarterdeck and Queen Chow are far better places to be.

The down to earth & natural customer experience (whether for food or beverages) that you'll receive at Pickled Octopus, The Drom, Big Niles, Malt Man, La Bocca, Food Mantra, Bermagui Hotel, almost anywhere else in the region make Lynches stand out like a sore thumb. I hope that all of these Sydney staffers can go to these places, really enjoy them for what they are and reflect on what's actually cool in a town like Narooma. Because at present it's not you guys, despite what you clearly think.

Some food here's OK, fish pie's yummy. Steak dish v similar to Quarterdeck, which is a better place to eat! Wine by the glass is Merivale brand only... yeah nah. 3.5 stars for the food and 1 star for the staff.

For pricey pub grub you'd want recruits that aren't so cringeworthy, overzealous & awkward or at the bar just flat out aloof & insincere. Leaves me wondering whether Lynches is really a gulag camp for underperforming...
