NEW OWNERS NEW MENU AMAZING FOOD. I have been here before when I was Chinese. When I see. The menu I was like I hope it good! It’s Malaysian it’s so fresh and yummy. The spring rolls were crunchy and pipping hot! They were fresh not frozen! The satay chicken skewers were nice, it’s more of a curry based satay not peanut! Was really awesome! We had honey chicken this was one of the best iv ever had, crunchy on the outside side not to much batter, it was light! the chicken curry was my favorite! Was really nice not spicy! The special fried rice was not oily it was fresh. The staff are friendly and knew the menu very well!

Came in for take away just before they where closing 9:30pm. I walked in was greeted by the Chinese lady, asked where is was from said I will really enjoy my food. They were in Sydney for 24 years now in Coffs. The food was 5 🌟. The Singapore noodles were the best I’ve had, the ginger shallot chicken was tasty too. The spring rolls were tasty. The prawn taste were nice a little oily. The owner is so sweet I’ll be beach for sure :-) support this restaurant so so good !

It was 8pm and we were hungry after a 5 hour trip from Sunshine Coast. Trusted google brought us to this restaurant in front of Woolies. Hardly any restaurants appeared to be open that late. We were greeted by a very lovely lady, she was so attentive and welcoming. The dishes were all great - prawn toast, salt & pepper squid, fried rice, flat rice noodles, mongolian lamb, honey king prawn & sweet and sour pork. We left the place so satisfied!

The food is what you go there for but best just grab a takeaway or get there early. We arrived about 7.30pm on a Friday night just wishing to relax, have a nice meal, converse and catch up after a busy week. It was fairly quiet with about 20 diners scattered throughout, so didn't envisage any problem as the listed closing time was 10pm. By 8pm, most diners had finished up and left we were still enjoying our meal along with the conversation. Then, as people left, staff began a full clean up. Not just taking dishes away & wiping down tables but vacuuming the carpet and moving tables & chairs as they went. The vacuuming was so loud it was hazardous and we could no longer hear anything over the noise, so conversation was out! Couldn't take it so had to get a doggie bag and leave. The restaurant itself, is clean & tidy, but also looking old and quite tired. No atmosphere to speak of, and little or no effort being made in this regard.

Overall, they offer very quick service of delicious food at a very...

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, if it can even be called Chinese food! I would warn anyone against coming here, especially with the $$$ prices!

The sweet and sour pork was drowned in onions and the sauce for the pork beans was too sweet. The pad thai (spelt phad thai on their menu) is completely inedible. The noodles were the wrong kind, thick and clumpy. The sauce had a horrible sour aftertaste. The egg in the dish had been stirred in with the sauce and formed this gloopy texture. So disgusting we didn’t finish it. The only plus was that there was lots of meat.

The staff was very kind and attentive and the owner came over to personally check on us during our meal. However, this did not cover up the extremely disappointing...

Unfortunately our favourite Chinese shop run by Mae that always gave the town such lovely Chinese has changed hands, we really wish Mae all the best!! The new owners have been changing the menu & the flavour of Chinese food we have all loved for so long is no longer what it once was, there is a new menu, lunchtime specials are no longer available, the flavour has gone. The restraunt looks nice inside after some minor changes. We have given it several chances but I think we are now done, don’t understand why someone would buy a successful business to change everything that worked for the community for 25 odd years,...
