Pizza Hut Bathurst — Restaurant in New South Wales

It was ok, I guess. You know when I was a kid, going to pizza hut was a real occasion. Now that I'm 36, ordering online, getting delivery, and eating it alone over the sink like a rat - it's just not the same. My family used to go to the pizza hut in Dubbo when I was a kid whenever I'd travel over to get my eyes tested. They used to have those buffets where you could eat as much as you want. The bowls of fudge and the jelly cut into cubes. It was a different time. A happier time. My dog was still alive. Rex. I miss you bro. The one I got tonight was kind of squashed up against the side because the delivery guy must have tilted the box, but I didn't want to say anything to him because he was middle aged and he had a real sadness in his eyes that made me want to invite him in, give him a beer and say "it's all going to be ok", but I couldn't, because there's a chance nothing will ever be ok for him ever again. He works at pizza hut. I can't make that promise. Life is hard. All I can say is if you're at a place in your life where you've had your noble spirit crushed down to the point where you're reading a review for the Bathurst Pizza Hut, then I can say only this: good luck, my friend. I placed an order through the Pizza Hut app at 5:56 PM with a promised delivery time of 6:26 PM. Not only did the order not arrive on time, but the online tracking system wasn’t working either. By 7:16 PM, I decided to call customer service, which was a nightmare in itself—5 minutes dealing with an automated assistant, followed by a 20-minute hold, only to have the operator attempt to connect me to the Bathurst store, whose line was engaged.

Customer service assured me they would message the store and have them call me back—15 minutes later, no call. When I rang customer service again, they informed me that there was an issue with their system and had to take my order again.

Frustrating is the only polite word I can use. A simple order turned into an exhausting ordeal, and the complete lack of communication made it even worse. Definitely not the experience I expected. However, once the issue was resolved, they did deliver as soon...

Usually I'd go to dominos for a quick pizza fix and never had issues but this time decided to order from pizza hut, Made a pickup order online to be ready at 6, had kids in the car so got there at 5.50, paid for it and was told be ready in 10min which was fine I was early, they asked my name twice while I was waiting.. got to 6.20 kids are whinging as they do and still nothing, so I went up to the counter and asked how long and they didn't have an answer for me they were frazzled.
