I am a food delivery driver. I went to this store to collect an order and was asked by a member of staff "where is your bag"? I told her it was in my car and she said "go get it". On my way to get my bag I said that I had never needed a bag before. Upon my return, I waited five minutes for my order and the employee handed me the order without a word. I told her that if the restaurant requires drivers to bring in a bag, it should be in the delivery instructions, like other restaurants do. She then said that every other driver knows about it because they had been doing it for two weeks, and then said quite rudely "door dash give you bags, use them". I told her that she is the only person to say anything about bringing in a bag, as I had been there three times that day to collect orders, and she said she would make sure everyone does it in future. I have delivering food for two years and completed over 4000 deliveries, and each time I read the delivery instructions for things like bringing in a bag. If I am required to bring in a bag it should be mentioned in the delivery instructions the company filled in when signing up with door dash, not by word of mouth. This person seemed to have an agenda, and her attitude is way below what I would expect from a customer...
Read moreAs I walked through the dark and gloomy streets of tweed heads at 9:30 on a Sunday night… dreading the week of unemployment ahead, wondering why Centrelink hadn’t paid me and cold and starving, a light was caught in the corner of my eye… a light so irresistible I just had to go have a closer look. And there it was… tweed heads red rooster… in all its glory, as I got closer I noticed a strange figure standing out the Front, he had long hair and a Portland trailblazers hat on. His beautiful smile shined upon me as he invited me into the restaurant… despite the fact he was about to get off for the night he still made me a meal with utmost care and even paid for it himself. He then sat down with me as I ate the food he had given me, he told me about a game called clash Royale… he then pulled out his telephone and showed me that he was only 20 trophies away from 10 thousand… so we sat there as he played that nerve racking game… and then it happened, he had hit 10 thousand trophies… he celebrated with so much happiness and I was blessed to share that moment with him. I never got his name but that moment of kindness has helped me realise that life isn’t all that bad and there’s good in the darkest of places… thank you to that lovely young man that fed me and...
Read morei came to this restaurant with such high hopes, i truly love fried chicken. but when i came through the drive through, they didn't even greet me? i sat there for a solid 5 minutes until someone said "are you going to order?" and i was SO startled!! i went ahead and said my order of a reds burger pack and three of the 3 pc satisfryer, they didn't even ask what I wanted to drink. When I got to the window to pay, the employee laughed when I said I would be paying with cash. The just gave me cokes. When I got home to check and make sure I had gotten everything that I had paid for, I was missing all of my pineapple fritters and 2 fries. I will never recommend this place to others. When I came back to ask what had happened, this "manager" told me that i didn't get any because they were out, when I had heard the person behind me order one as well?? are they not communicating with their workers the status of the restaurant? This man's name was of a certain ethnicity and was bald!! He did a terrible job of accommodating me and it made me very upset!!! I will NOT...
