My Scooter Lab — Local services in Gold Coast City

Very disappointing experience at the store. We were sold a scooter on a wrong pretence. The scooter is a stunt scooter and I asked for a scooter that rides on the ground only. I voiced I preferred Micro and the sales person just pushed enough to sell it. My daughter is so very unhappy and refuses to ride her scooter. She ridden it once on a pathway and it’s clanking already, the tape is coming off just after one time. The other time she ridden it in a garage. When I spoke to the store to see if we could exchange the employee said the boss is stubborn and will not replace or refund us and there is pretty much nothing we could do, even though the scooter isn’t even one year old and only ridden twice. I tried to swap the scooter on various pages but got negative feedback about my scooter lab. So now we are stuck with a scooter my daughter hates and won’t ride. I DO NOT recommend this store. Very poor customer service, once they have your money they don’t care and obviously don’t believe in...

Our lovely new scooter from Christmas, including the all important purple bell that was detailed in the letter to Santa, was in a little bike path crash. The scooter and child walked away unscathed (thank goodness) but the bell didn’t survive. I ordered one online and popped a little note in the order comments explaining what had happened, my little girl thought I had called Santa’s elves, who were now on Summer holidays, to see if they could possible make a new one. To her (and my) utter delight, a brand new bell, hand written note from the elves AND a couple of bonus stickers to cheer her up were at our front door within days. If I could give one million customer service gold stars, I would. If you’re shopping around, please give these guys your business. Good people who do good deeds deserve recognition ....

We took our scooter into Scooter Lab after getting a puncture on our ride into Coolangatta. The lovely and very helpful Roy spent over 3 hours of his time trying to help us get back on the road (as we carry a spare tube with us for this exact situation) but when Roy got the tyre off we found the tube was the wrong size. Roy went above and beyond trying to get the tube to work (as we were told it would as it was supplied to me personally by the scooter importer). The scooter importer even came down to the shop personally to try and help. Unfortunately it was to no avail as after 5 mins of leaving the shop the tyre went flat.
