The food is good. Everything else is bad. If you're hungry and need to get going for the day, maybe skip this cafe. I have waited up to 45 minutes for my takeaway food to be ready.

All the staff ignore you when you walk in, or glance at you as if you're just another annoying person they have to deal with. I've been coming here for a year and I think I've been greeted in a friendly manner, maybe twice.

Today I ordered online and when I arrived to pick up my order, my food was missing and they told me they had to refund it. So here I was, expecting to receive my breakfast, no call to inform that there was a change, no consideration whatsoever. So now I don't have my food and if I'd known they couldn't complete my order, if someone called me I would have cancelled and gone somewhere else.

I also tried calling their phone number and the mobile number attached to all their contact details, is turned off. The owner of this business really needs to do some work to make this an inviting and consistent place to go. So far they have not.

I won't be returning.

Edit: I just want to add, seeing that the owner replied to my review a while ago. No, none of your staff cared that I was upset about my order being changed, they basically shrugged their shoulders at me and stared blankly. Great customer service...

Also, why are you saying to me that you hope someone took care of the situation? As the owner, shouldn't you know whether or not someone took care of the situation? I'm also a business owner and many of my friends are as well, and I know what's happening in my business. I wouldn't go to a customer to find out what happened. You have staff.

It looks like you're hiring again, so hopefully you're hiring people who actually deliver customer service and accountability. Hopefully your phone number works now. Hopefully you're more involved so you know the quality of service...

We sat outside at a tall table that you need stools to sit at. The table was the most wobbly table I've ever used at any eating establishment ever. It made the table almost impossible to use for drinking coffee at. I'm not exaggerating... This table is in such wobbly condition, people would have to be spilling coffee onto themselves. Or if they're not, it's only a matter of time. I'm going on about it a bit. But WHY would you ever have a table at a cafe that is annoying to use and possibly a danger?? And the stupid thing about this.... How about someone flipping the table upside down, tightening the fasteners, and flipping it back up? 2 minute job. Problem solved. Having tables in this condition at a cafe screams laziness.

However the coffee was decent and I like that they give you some soda water with your long black.

The poor girl behind the register had her mind elsewhere though. She appeared to be really struggling with something on the register. And then when she served me, she asked for the price of the coffee, I gave her $20, and she put the money in the register, closed it, and thanked me. I had to ask for my change. Of $20. For a coffee.

This was my first visit. And I will go back. I'll just choose a different table next time. But I will be checking the wobbly table to see if they saw this review...

Have eaten here on a number of occasions when i have been in the area for work, food is of Fair quality. Some of the staff have been nice and welcoming, However staff that were there today were extremely blunt and rude, Especially the young guy working there today serving customers should be fired immediately for the way he spoke to me, made me feel uncomfortable around customers, and his inexperienced customer service. I had a lady with a child sitting next to me that said she couldn't believe how rude he was and the poor customer service while already seated dining wanting something else brought. I ordered and paid for my Breaky burger and coffee got a seat to dine it, Once I had finished my food I made order For a cinnamon scroll to get brought to me, Young lady was rude when I asked, then sent the young guy back to me. Young guy was rude 3 times, and was not specific with what he was trying to say referring to scroll not been paid for, while i was already dining inside and had already paid for food prior. This is definitely very poor Unappreciated and rude customer service, and the right way to lose customers. I definitely won't be dining...

Where do I start with the Good Bits? After a long night on the turps with the lads, how breathtaking to see half a dozen of the most fresh faced beautiful young ladies you can ask for on a Sunday morning. Lydia recommended the Lime milkshake and even though I'm watching my figure, I couldn't resist the rave reviews. It ended up being the best Lime milkshake I've ever had and the food was disgustingly delicious and the service was second to none. After the meal the rest of the guys from The Avenue and myself did 10 Hail Mary's with Lydia and repented our sins in Jesus name, Amen. We Love Lydia

New Review We came back here and we were a bit shocked how much prices have increased. We ordered the loaded croissant and it had one price of salmon. $14 for an Iced Chai On top of that the weekend surcharge of 10% then a card surcharge of 2% it's not the best value for money. The cafe was quite cold and we required jumpers that we didn't have. The food was nice just a bit to expensive for what you get. Old Review We Had an amazing breakfast. The Salted caramel milkshake was amazing. Very friendly staff, good prices and a very nice interior. Love all the plants it's a very nice touch.

The Good Bits is what this is - all the healthy bits of all day breakfast plates and lunches are on this menu. Here you won't find deep fried chips or anything like that. Instead it's good wholesome cooking. The freshly baked croissants and pastries and the home made gelato is a great touch as well, and the seating is eclectic and inviting. The corner Street position makes this café well lit and visible in this small town and the staff are friendly too. Loved it.
