Finally!!!! A hidden gem with sophistication, class , flavoursome delicate Asian food inspired menu that delivers more than expected. Homemade, fresh, good quality authentic fusion Asian food at very very reasonable prices for the professional and friendly service Beautiful in good taste Decor and ambience instantly transforms you to Asia and the atmosphere is quiet, relaxed , comfortable , welcoming and CLEAN! Excellent short menu executed originally and cooked and presented perfectly. Very refreshing and exciting. We have been visiting the Lake for almost 30 years and have resorted to catering for ourselves due to the disappointment of restaurant after restaurant in the area (yes and even those that claim to be fine dining and have award winning chefs!) due to lack of professionalism , presentation, quality or price. And sometimes you want more than just pub , club or counter food which are abundant in this area . The only thing (and not fair to say as they were perfectly homemade! ) was would of loved more Asian style dessert options. (Banana pancake roti would have been a great treat) . However it is understandable as Asian desserts can be an acquired taste. All in all we were very excited to find this little hidden gem and will be back . A truly disappointing experience, not quite sure where the positive reviews come from! The restaurant was more than half empty but we were left waiting over an hour for our mains which with a hungry tired 2 year old, was not fun. When we asked after the food (after an hour) we were told the staff had forgotten to clear our entree plates so there has been no signal to kitchen to start our mains! No apologies offered. The food was well below average and worse than any cheap eats! The stir fry’s and noodles were edible but with a Maggie stir fry like quality, unfortunately the same could not be said of the beef massaman curry which was inedible made from an aweful concentrated tinned paste it came out looking like dog food and didn’t taste much better. Not my first visit & definitely not my last! I was dining alone, so indulged in all 3 courses. Curry puffs for entree were delicious - crisp & tasty! As a mature diner, I was nervous about ordering the Crispy Pork Belly, but I'm so glad I did! The pork was absolutely, melt in the mouth delicious, and the crackling was amazing! Since the night was still young, I decided that dessert was an option - I chose the coconut panacotta. It was the perfect end to a delicious meal. The service was great and atmosphere relaxing.
