Unfortunately I was too excited to drink my coffee and only photographed it post quaffing! Make sure you check the specials menu. The other day I had a very filling Hash Brown Brekie, where instead of bread the eggs were served on hash browns with salmon and hollandaise sauce! Today I had a savoury mince breakfast. If you're are after a small breakfast the half breakfast is perfect. It's literally have a breakfast: one egg one piece of bread etcetera. The morale of the staff here is high and they are all friendly and efficient. It's a pleasure to see a place obviously run in a supportive and team oriented way. The Roma Bar is an iconic Darwin establishment. Midnight Oil even mention it in their song "Truganini". Make sure you ch eeck out the artwork around the place. I love this place and always feel happy after seeing the happy staff enjoying their work!

Coffee only: super service and well made coffee...do you know your arabica from your robusta? No, nothing to do with Syria or Dolly. The arabica bean dominates Cafe coffee while robusta is cheaper and is in many powdered sorts... One big difference is the caffeine, higher in robusta. If you're still reading, I raise this as my heart is still on the precipice of arrhythmia many hours after my coffee. Yes, I have a double shot daily. From the slightly empty mid palate and my hyperactivity, I'd say there's robusta in the mix here... just in case you do or don't want the meth hit it brings. Geez coffee is pricey in Darwin!

I was in Darwin just 2 nights but ended up having breakfast here both times. Food was fresh and fast, staff were lovely, and the coffee was great. As well as the usual egg/toast/avo combinations there’s a healthier almond and pepita granola (which was superb), oats with banana and berries, a mango chia pudding, and delicious banana pancakes. If it’s too steamy you can eat indoors, but everyone else is enjoying the Darwin lifestyle outside on the covered veranda.

Very disappointing Cafe. Firstly waited over half an hour for coffees this morning only for them to come out COLD. Had to wait an hour for food again poor quality. I ordered the eggs with hashbrowns, the hollandaise was disgusting it was the consistency on water and incredibly oily and salty. My hash brown were again cold and soggy but somehow the Bacon was burnt!! When I asked the young staff at the counter if she could get me some water as there fridge was empty she simply replied no and walked away. As someone's who's just arrived here for a holiday this was a huge disappointment,...
