I popped in on a Friday afternoon for a cheeky dessert paw â yes, the waffles are freakin cat paws! Are you kidding me? That alone is worth the visit.
I ordered a coconut paw and a choc custard paw. Oh my⊠I was not expecting that.
I started with the coconut. At first, I was a little underwhelmed, expecting a woozy, tropical coconut flavour â until the subtle flavours hit my tongue. It was divine. The coconut is blended into the waffle dough, and the lightness of the paw work together perfectly.
Then came the choc custard paw. How do I even describe this? It was an orgasm in my mouth. Here we get that rich, woozy custard goodness â somehow baked right into the dough.
I donât know how they do it⊠some kind of witchcraft.
Needless to say, Iâm in love. I fully intend to work my way through every single paw and menu item in due time.
Oh, and the coffee? Almost forgot to mention it â but honestly, with Code Black beans, what more needs to be said? Top notch, and the perfect pairing with my paws.

Read moreI really like this cafe, and went for my birthday. Don't get me wrong, the food such as the onigiri, and the drinks are amazing, and the staff are so kind, you can tell they're trying. I still have faith in this business as I have been before and never experienced this, but when I dined there for my birthday, the Matcha bliss soufflé was overwhelmingly eggy with a fishy smell. Of course when I usually go, the soufflé has a subtle egg taste, and tastes sweet and light, I understand it tastes eggy because it is made of egg. I enjoyed the matcha ice cream and sauce and the onigiri and peach soda though. My friend also said her soufflé was unusually eggy. I still love this cafe and hope to go again and not...
