I came into the store in the evening and I was the only customer. The lady behind the counter had her back turned from the service area while she was on her phone which I can understand, it’s a quiet night. I wasn’t expecting 5-star service but a hello would be nice when she finally noticed me and took my order. As I was watching her make my order, she had not washed her hands prior and almost forgot to put gloves on (hello food safety).
I was waiting for my burrito to be made when I received a phone call I had been waiting to place another order when a lady came out from the kitchen area to basically tell me while I was still on the phone: “For future reference, don’t talk on the phone while getting your order done”and then went back in the kitchen.
I understand it’s rude to be on a call while ordering but it’s also rude to interrupt someone who is on the phone - about to purchase another one of your products which the staff who was on her phone earlier then proceeded to “lovingly” make (check photo for reference).
I may not be a frequent customer but “for future reference” I may just be a lot more infrequent due to the quality of service and product I...
Read moreBeen in Darwin for 5 weeks with work. Zambrero is my favorite quick Mexican meal. I have been into the store 8 times during my stay. Everytime I have been into the store it's like there is only the young German guy working. Whilst very friendly and he takes care with making the food, he isn't very fast, which results in regular line ups. I have noticed multiple different young female staff members in store, generally coming 'back from break' or sitting out the back on their phones. I appreciate the 'waiting economy' but it's a little rough when there is one person doing all the work. Have also been denied service one of the other staff as it was too close to closing time (15 minutes?). Give the young bloke a bonus, additional training and chat your other staff. It's apparent to me that your other staff are possibly taking advantage of his politeness. Food is fresh and tasty....
Read moreA good healthy option but a bit hit and miss. Our first visit was great. We had a Power Bowl to share and paid for some extra toppings. The serving was really generous and just perfect for a light dinner option to share between 2. Last night there was a new girl serving us. She was following the instruction card to the letter. One tablespoon of meat, obe of beans, etc. No bean slad this time either. My husband and I grabbed spme chips from Hungry Jacks on the way home to eat with it as we knew it wouldn't be enough for 2 this time. Nobody seems to eat in, although there is seating if you want to. They are licensed and sell a variety of bottled individual serve alcoholic beverages. Food choices are pretty much limited to wraps or bowls with meat, beans, rice and salad but it is a healthy fast food option and tastes good. There are...
