Victoria Hotel — Restaurant in Northern Victoria Region

The Victoria hotel is a superb establishment. As you walk into this sleek and down to earth modern facility. You are greeted by a clean and beautifully maintained establishment, were the staff are so welcoming and have some of the most wicked and funny sense of humour. In example, I that is so like me spilt some food on the front of my t-shirt and when the serving staff saw me do this, they joked with my loved ones at same time that they can't take me anywhere. I laughed so much and felt so comfortable and relaxed.

And what may I say about the food, ohhhhhh so delicious, and the serving sizes are huuuuuuuuge dear readers, and such amazing value for money. Especially on a Monday when you can get 2 meals for the price of one. I dear readers received over $70 dollars worth of food for the price of $36, mean truly what a deal dear readers.

So all in all, the Vic is a truly great place, great atmosphere, amazing service, and true for money in both quantity...

Worst treatment I have ever received at a restaurant, first there’s no shaded parks so we park as close to the only entrance near the parks as we have an 8 week old baby and it’s hot, we then realise that the only entrance that is quick to get in to is the pokies room but as my kids are baby’s and it’s meant to be a family friendly restaurant and I was walking straight to bistro I didn’t think this would be a problem, as I put my child down tho to play in the play room we were approached by an extremely rude staff member who explained that we’re not aloud to do that, it wouldn’t have been so much of a problem had she not been so rude but the way my partner and I were spoken to made us not feel like eating at all, this used to be a nice family friendly pub but I would not recommend a family ever go to...

Visiting Shepparton for the AFS tournament the Victoria Hotel was close to where our tournament was being held. Staff were fantastic to deal with and food was a typical pub meal however accommodation is horrendous . I have stayed in many country pubs and although old they are clean. These rooms are in desperate need of renovation and hotel owners SHOULD NOT be booking them out to unsuspecting tourists. If there was other accomodation available elsewhere I definately would have moved my family as would the other guests who had booked for that weekend.Disappointing part of an otherwise...
