Cafe 63 Castletown — Restaurant in Pimlico

Came in today for the first time. The service was absolutely incredible as soon as we sat down despite the place being completely packed there was someone to take our order.

Our drinks came out within the first couple of minutes and our food was followed by only a couple extra minutes. So pretty much we had our food and drinks within 10 mins. 🤯

I then proceeded to spill my full iced coffee on my self and was so embarrassed but 3 of the girls working rushed over to me with napkins and cleaning supplies, gave me a towel to clean myself up and even made me another coffee free of charge 🥺🥺. I was so embarrassed but you guys really made me feel better and I won’t forget that💗.

I used to come here for the steak sandwich which is usually fantastic, but today I came here for a desserts, I asked for a Meringe Lemon Tart for 8.5 dollars, and it was pretty old and the meringe is very sticky, doesn't really have the texture and flavour of a meringe. At the momento to ask to the staff, the casher didn't show any interest about what I was saying and she replied "I have no idea, we buy the dessert we dont make them". So I paid $8.5 dollars for a piece of old cake? Hmmm... I dont recomend this place for desserts and normally the staff was friendly to the custumers, but at the moment to have a complaint they are definitely not friendly with you....

Ordered take away and somehow all 3 orders were completely wrong. We ordered a poutine which is hot chips with gravy and cheese, somehow someone read that and confused it with plain chips with bacon on top and sweet chilli sauce on the side. Our second order of plain chips and gravy, again two ingredients was another banger and was shoestring chips (not an issue) with a side of aioli. Again close but not quite, and finally the pancakes with maple syrup on the side with blueberries. A small WW2 rationing of maple syrup that would be close to a teaspoon was provided and no berries. 11/10 would recommend if you want to eat...
