Great gelato. Horrible service - in particular the customer service she wore a green emerald floral play suit with Brown wavy hair (Half up half down). She came across rude, impatient and unwelcoming, We were at the shop the evening on 8th September.
We were trying one of the gelato flavours - zabaglione (which was delicious btw) our pronunciations was incorrect and we apologised, but this customer service did not what so ever to help us in pronunciate the name properly and some what judged us.
I notice that she was much nicer to the other customers after serving us. Whether if it was we were the only Asian family and she wasnât kind to us or she selectively choose which customers to be nice to. Regardless, her attitude was not acceptable, appeared ungrateful also. Again I want to emphasise - Great Gelato, horrible customer service from this lady...
   Read moreMy partner and I came to this place many times during our stay in Port Douglas last week. The gelato is fantastic, really good flavours and so creamy and delicious. My partner very much enjoyed the coffee (espresso con panna). But what we really loved was the cannoli. Honestly the best we have ever tried. Perfezione. It is their homemade mixture of sweetened ricotta, chocolate chips and candied fruit. The Italian staff (and owners I presume) were the absolute kindest and started to recognise us I think since we went there so often! On our last evening in Port Douglas we asked about the cannoli (previous day they had run out of the mixture) and the guy said there was enough for three. We asked and paid for two, and he gave us three, which was incredibly generous. We were very touched....

I do not need to try other places, I will only come back to this gelato while Iâm here.
