Being in town for my birthday we had walked out of one restaurant due to a chaotic environment, customer yelling at her family on her phone & a screaming young child of a staff member we replanned to go to Dee’s Vintage Thai. On arrival it was a nice vibe, food arrival took longer than expected as we were the only people dinning in, once food had arrived the portions were very sizely BUT were what I can only described as food cooked by someone who had given up on their cooking life. A cashew nut sauce was literally was the normal sauce that I’m sure every meal comes with & cashews dropped on top! Sadly the bit that hurt the most of a bad birthday dinner was that we paid way to much for food that had no love no passion & I felt robbed that what was meant to be an experience should have been a lovely time was in fact not...

With warm welcoming vibes decoration, this restaurant has a large space to fit many friends and family. We order Beef Massaman curry, Fried King prawn, Tom yum soup, and mini springroll. Beef curry looks nice, and taste good also. Tom yum I would say all of my international friends are loving it (never saw they finished everything in the bowl before), for me personally, it can be more spicier and a bit more sour would be nice. Fried King prawn is my favorite dishes back in Thailand and this restaurant cook it the way that I like back home. We would love to try the dessert, sweet egg sticky rice, but unfortunately it already sold out. Lastly, really appriciate the owner who recommend us for Laurel Garden, which looks...

Sometimes, you come across a hidden jewel in a small country town and this place is certainly one of them. Recommended by my local friend, Leon Versace from Fiducian Financial Services, Toowoomba, we visited Dee's Vintage Thai run by Peter. The servings were HUGE, and with the freshest of the vegetables. The Special Thai Fried Rice had fresh pineapples (not the tinned ones) which really surpassed the expectations. We also ordered the Pad siew and Red Curry with rice. More than enough for 4 hungry stomachs and the bill was just $54. The chef gave complimentary Curry Puffs as he heard my daughter mentioning it while taking the orders - talk about...

Had dinner here for my Birthday, I already have a favourite Thai restaurant so I had high expectations..... I was blown away by how delicious the food was. The little bears loved the deep fried king prawns and satay chicken (the sauce was to die for 😋) the laksa, duck and pork in plum sauce was a hit with the grown ups. The Thai fried rice was spectacular 👌 I feel like Dee's is a sneaky little hide away kind of place, once you get lucky enough to find it you will want to keep going back. Well priced meals, large serves and welcoming staff 🐾♥️

I ordered a stir-fry with chicken and stay sauce. Added coconut rice. Was $20... very generous servings. They offer containers to take home leftovers. The meal had lots of fresh veggies which I loved and it tasted amazing. It did take a little while for the meals to come out which is why i didn't give it 5 stars. It's quite spacious inside, friendly staff, alcohol and soft drinks available, food is delicious. Would definitely come back. It is a nice casual restaurant as well.
