What a bitterly disappointing dinner out, I’m surprised to be offered to leave a “positive review” when we raised our concerns with staff discretely and respectfully onsite at the time of dining.
We questioned the burnt chicken to be shrugged off. We again approached staff with chicken that was black inside & veiny and tasted different to the other pieces to have them take it away with our bowl and no replacement, care or explanation, just snatched the bowl away.
Our spritz drink was also underserved the image indicated a full wine style glass outs arrived full to the brim of ice, however only half full of drink. I mean half not 3/4. Simply half in a wine glass.
The staff appeared non interested like it was normal practice. Non apologetic and simply not interested in customers.
As mentioned we have already attempted to resolve this but they were...
Read moreVery disappointing - Today was my second attempt to try Hello Harry's, and since I don't eat meat, I was very excited to try the Veggie Lover, which has a grilled mushroom instead of a patty. I assume no other burger comes with a half patty, but for some reason this one comes with only half of a mushroom. Very misleading, especially when the advertising clearly shows a whole mushroom. Places that treat customers as if they were stupid really should review their policy and priorities. Although the flavour itself wasn't bad - just quite soggy as you can see in the picture, this was my first and quite probably the last time I'll eat there. (Just to mention, the first time I went there, on 18/09/24, I couldn't order because it was 7:47pm and the staff said the kitchen closes at 8pm. They were tired and wanted to go home, I get it, but still...
Read moreWe were excited to see the Southern Chicken special again. Sadly, this wasn't the Southern Chicken we had previously had. I'm not sure when sriracha sauce and jalapenos became "Southern" but it was a far cry from the lovely, crispy fried chicken with aioli and salad we had in Maroochydore 6 months ago.
Given that your other sides are served with the house aioli, it might be an idea to tell your customers they will be served a sriracha mayo instead. This wasn't listed on the board, or told to us at the counter. We only realised it wasn't aioli after our 2 year old daughter dipped her finger in and put it in her mouth. Imagine if she had put it in her eye!
$43 worth of disappointment. Pretty safe to say, we won't be...
