Inflexible and incompetent service, at what could have been a great location, with modern bistro type of casual atmosphere.
Booked for a birthday celebration, and requested for an indoor area that's near the outdoor. Got seated at a table that was a lot more indoors, and towards a corner, with a wall/pole blocking the view. Oh well. As we sat down, we could smell an awful pungent smell. It smelt like someone had sweated for a whole day and did not get changed. We asked the waitress to change tables to which she replied this is just human perfume. What?! Who on earth would use such a smelly perfume. Clearly she was trying to get us to not move tables. I asked if she could check whether it's a possiblity to move us given there are some empty tables, which I understand may have been booked, but if she thinks this is "human perfume" and is totally acceptable, then maybe she can give our table to someone else who is coming in late then. Time passed, and she never came back! This was worst to be honest, very poor service. 👎👎👎 Then, a second waiter came along wanting to take our orders. I proceeded to tell him the same thing, and he said he would go and check with the staff. He was much better, at least he came back, but repeated what the other waitress must have told him to say. Without a solution to the issue, we had to walk away because it was impossible for us to dine there, the smell was very strong. My kids, husband and particularly my dad found it unbearable. Importantly, none of the wait staff apologized for what we experienced, not to mention we were meant to be here for a birthday celebration. 👎👎👎
Turns out it was good that we didn't dine there because we end up finding a really nice seafood restaurant, with the most amazing service and scrumptious steak and seafood, further...

We shared the dumplings and sweet potato fries (to start), then vegan Japanese curry and mussels for dinner. Starters: The dumplings lacked any texture in the filling and were dry on the outside. The sweet potato fries were underdone as well. (On any other occasion that would be forgivable given these are finger foods)… Mains: Before ordering the curry, the waitress had confirmed it had tofu, but unfortunately when it arrived there was no tofu in it, and all of a sudden there was no waitstaff around to enquire about it. The curry also lacked flavour and variety of vegetables, consisting primarily of baby corn, likely from a tin. The best part of the curry was the fresh coriander and pickled ginger (from a jar). Very disappointing overall. The mussels, although plentiful in serving size, were by far the biggest let down - especially considering mussels are hard to get wrong! They were unusually fishy tasting and soft textured, suggesting they were probably not fresh. That, paired with the sauce, which was akin to stir thru tomato sauce for kids, made this the most disappointing meal we have experienced in a long time. If we weren’t such sticklers for food waste, we would have just left the food, it was that displeasing. All in all.. given our experience I would not recommend Enzos for food, but still nice to have a drink at the beach facing bar, it really is a...
Read moreWe visited for drinks, drawn by the great views of the ocean, and had a very disappointing experience with the front of house staff. Not all, just one girl. Myself, my wife, two children, and two dogs arrived at around 3pm on wednesday 22nd January, hoping to relax and enjoy the scenery. As soon as we entered, the staff member at the front was abrupt and informed us that they weren't serving food and that we’d need to go to the bar for drinks, as there was no table service. This was fine since we were only interested in drinks.
We chose one of the many available tables outside to enjoy the view of the sea. After settling in, I went to the bar, provided our table number, and was told that area was closed and that we should sit inside instead or we could wait 10 minutes and see would clean a table. It was all an unnecessary fuss for 4 drinks. I'd of been happy sitting anywhere with a view of the sea. It just seemed she was rude and being very awkward.
Given the number of similar recent complaints, it seems that the service here is inconsistent at best. Ultimately, I decided to leave and go elsewhere as i just wanted to relax without drama. It’s a shame because the location is fantastic, but the rude and unhelpful staff completely ruined our visit.
As an alternative. I would highly recommend Bayaroma Cafe, superb, great food and friendly...
