We went down to get a soft serve ice cream for dessert however they had no ice cream.. it was aroumd 8:45pm-9pm
On another occasion, the self serve ordering station didn't print a ticket.. a very common occurrence I might add, so we had no ticket number to know when meals are ready to collect.. On every occasion lately (I hear you saying "why do I keep going back?" Lol these are all months in between and yet the experiences all feel the same) it just feels and appears like untrained children are running the show and not an adult supervisor in sight.. which led to very many mistakes being made which I witnessed as waiting for our incorrect orders to arrive.. which were the wrong drinks.. the staff had no idea what they were doing.. they kept just pouring drinks and handing them to us (drive through) and we kept handing them back stating they were the wrong drinks so without even looking at the order they just started pouring more drinks.. in the hope of just getting lucky i think which they never got right.. we just left because our food was getting cold.. our grandson stated one of his drinks tasted like it was chocolate milkshake with sprite at one stage.. we sampled many many drinks in a short amount of time but that one obviously was memorable.. One night the manager was the only person who seemed to be there.. literally did not see any other staff member and he was just trying to do everything himself.. he looked quite stressed out the poor kid.. Anyway.. On the occasion we went for soft serve and they told us they had no ice cream.. we just went up the road to hungry Jack's who happened to be plenty full of ice cream and happy to accommodate.. Very sad day for me as I was always a maccas kid and never a hungry Jack's kid.. I just can't think about how much money McDonald's must be losing right now.. I remember once upon a time, McDonald's was world renowned for their staff training and was held in the utmost highest regards. If you had someone applying for a job and you could see they had previously worked for McDonald's you would almost hire them on the spot because their reputation was so great.. however after what I've been witnessing over the last year.. hmm.. I definitely don't think that will be the case anymore.. "oh you've worked for McDonald's I see.. well IF we decide to employ you.. we're going to have to retrain you entirely.."

Read moreI do some side hustle delivery every now and again and coming to this McDonald’s is the worst out of all Toowoomba Maccas. I walked up to the counter on Saturday 8/06/2024 at around 2:15pm asking the girl at the front about the order I am there to pick up , she looks at me and says “I don’t know “ , I literally didn’t know what to say after she said that, so I calmly said how long will the order take because she seemed like she’s not into serving anyone let alone responding to delivery drivers , this girl with no name badge on looks at me and says “your face is rude” hence why she didn’t want to serve me . I don’t know if she still wants a job or is she there to annoy people . But I’m sorry I didn’t get to choose what face I get to be born with and yes I hope it’s nothing to do with my immigrant looking face or colour but just a dimwit kid having a bad day 🤔 . Lucky for me another customer standing near by comes to my defence and just goes off at how rude this kids are . The assistant manager for that shift walks up and asks me what the whole commotion was about so I explained and he serves me with the best customer service you could expect. But I hope HR or owner sees this and checks this kids behaviour. Caucasian girl , dark hair , with the grey maccas uniform working on 08/6/2024 at 2pm-2:30pm at the front counter . Read moreDecided to go get some maccas brekkie on this lovely Sunday morning, which turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. My day has been irreversibly ruined. From the moment they put us in the parking bay (which was already full, by the way) I knew this was a bad decision. It was a quite simple order I requested, or so i thought: small 6 nugget meal and some hotcakes. We waited almost 20 minutes for "fresh" nuggets, which turned out to be cold, with no sweet and sour sauce. The hotcakes came with no maple syrup, or cutlery, rendering them merely inedible. And the icing on the cake: my "iced" coffee had no ice, nor sugar. The service was terrible and the staff spoke very unprofessionally. I am very very disappointed to say the least. Thanks for nothing McDonalds. One thing I would like to mention, though, is the manager I encountered on shift. She looked like she was having the worst day of her life, trying to handle such incompetent staff, yet served me with a polite manner and a smile on her face. If only there were more like her.
