Had an altercation with the manager working 24.12.2024.
Placed the order via drive thru, got to the pay window. And the lady at the window was busy talking with an co worker. ( The order was incorrect). I tried to raise the issue with the employee at the window, but it fell on deaf ears as she co tinued to point to the eftpos machine mounted to the pay window. ( A massive line of cars was behind) so I just thought I would raise the issue again at the pick up window.
The manager was the person who served me, and again I "asked" i think there has been a mix up. I ordered ect ect. The manager 'sighed' told me there is nothing she can do and too drive back around an re order. Initially I agreed. After handing me the partial order she went too walk away. I asked AGAIN where was the remaining order, do I wait at the window, or do I pick up the remaining items when I go back around and re place the order. It was now she pointed at the other windows and said " well drive up too the next window, and you will get your order there. I went too say " ok' and as she is walking away she mumbles. Don't take your problems out on me?
I initially didn't have a problem, but now I have been called rude for a mistake I didn't make, I was pissed off.
So I parked the car, and walked inside to place the order again. About 5 mins later the order was called out. I go to the counter and the young lady handed me the order ( incorrect again)
Now I am getting mad about the situation. I ask the young lad " mate i need too speak to the manager please" He calls for the manager ( who served me originally) she looked up, walked towards the counter. The young lady and her spoke briefly, she then turns around and tells me " I don't have time for your issues" and walks away!
Everyone has bad days, but as a manager, you should hold yourself too a higher standard, especially when dealing with...
Read moreAmazingly bad.. especially for a McDonald's and customer service,, food quality and staff. First issue was a half filled small coke, went to counter to get it top up and was met with a girl with long hair in plat chatting up a bunch of boys, she didn't even look at me and walked straight past to hang out with the bunch of boys while on her shift working.. thankfully another staff member apologied and helped me out. (He didn't need to, he was lovely).
Then back to my table to eat with family, we found half our order was missing, kids nuggets, chips cold, no spoon for icecreams. So back to counter with the girl still chatting up the guys, I asked for the missing nuggets and she grabbed a cold box that had been sitting in the made order area since we walked in and handed them to me. At this time we were over it, at and leaving. The girl ended up walking off completely with multiple staff looking for her, shaking their heads and went back to work. Absolutely no Manager in sight during all of this and no control over staff, we did see a Staff Trainer go in and out to check out cars multiple times and no help to waiting customers at the counter either.
Idk what is with this McDonald's but the lack of training, senior staff and respect for customer and food service is distrusting.

We wanted a chocolate milkshake(sorry we can't do that) A coffee frappe( sorry can't do that) 6 only chicken nuggets,yep 1 only hash brown,yep 1 small ice coffee,yep. So we drive to the window and were charged $19.25 Whaaaat? I asked the young man ,are you sure,I don't think thats right? He answers yes,thats what it is. So I ask can I have a receipt please?. NO,sorry can't do a receipt. Hmmm. Starting to feel very ripped off. Proceed to get our order and they had made a hot coffee not cold No it was not busy . They then made the ice coffee,we left but drove a short distance and were not happy as the $19.25 charge so drove back,went inside,asked for the manager. He couldn't add up the cost of 3 items so went out of sight to get his mobile phone ,came back added it up,gave us the excuse that we had been charged'a meal' price for the nuggets and gave us $3.30 refund.We checked the pricing since and "Still overcharged " So who's checking!.
