I frequent Mello Cafe a few times a week for both food and drink. The service is always top notch. The owner Danielle is a wonderful person with a smile on her face always. The food is to die for and the drinks are top tier. They recently did catering for a work event we had on, the box of mixed sandwiches (attached) were fresh and very tasty. The best inner-city cafe and coffee in Townsville with a warm and funky vibe! Such a relaxing atmosphere no matter how you feel you will walk out feeling satisfied. Highly recommend the chicken Caesar salad sandwiches and dirty chai latte. Always a great selection of food to chose from in the display cabinet if you are on the run or a yummy hot food menu if you have a little more time. We went to the Café due to the good reviews but we were really disappointed. We had such good food the last few days but the burger and fries we had were below average. The fries were pale and flavorless and the vegetarian burger was made with a store bought and tiny but greasy patty. There avocado peel in the burger as well.
