If you're looking for a hidden gem in town, this cafe is a must-visit! From the moment you step inside, you'll be enchanted by the funky decor, vibrant wall murals, and the overall welcoming atmosphere. The staff is not only friendly but also incredibly efficient, ensuring that your experience is always top-notch. The cafe offers a unique layout with tables split over two levels, giving you the option to choose between a more bustling ground floor or a cool, dimly lit upper level with eclectic and pleasing decor. It's the perfect place to take a restorative break while in the CBD, whether you're grabbing a coffee on your way to work or looking to unwind on the weekends. With a variety of board games to enjoy, this cafe offers not only great food and drinks but also a fun and relaxed environment for social gatherings. It's a fantastic spot for friend meetings or dates, providing a personal touch to your dining experience. The alternative music adds to the ambiance, making it a unique and memorable cafe in town. I strongly recommend giving this place a visit, especially on weekend nights when the vibes are particularly good. Whether you're a coffee lover, a foodie, or simply looking for a cozy hangout spot, this cafe ticks all the boxes. Don't miss out on the chance to experience the perfect blend of excellent coffee, friendly service, and one-of-a-kind decor – just go and enjoy! Alex from Perth

Very good coffee. Alternative milks available. Melbourne-ish cafe vibe. Great pancake ice cream. Price not bad for Flinders St. I think the owner should put in some acoustic pinboard to help reduce noise in the room. It could be pretty loud with just a few people talking. It’s Flinders St so pretty much paid parking is your only option during week day. For nights and weekend there are a few options around the corner. Can just do street parking and walk there.

We were looking for a coffee and this place had good reviews so we decided to give it a try. It has fun, eclectic, street arty vibe. We ordered caramel almond lattes, a cappuccino and a flat white. All coffees were good 8/10. We wanted a bite to eat so tried the orange and poppy seed cake and a roast beef roll. No complaints. We will drop by again next visit to Townsville.

Honey and I decided to give Datz a shot when we could not decide where to go but knew we wanted some fun cocktails and possibly an interesting dessert. I am happy to report that a lot seems to have changed in regards to the food!We had a 6pm Saturday booking but arrived 10 minutes early. So were quite surprised to find the restaurant half full at 5.50pm. For this reason I would definitely recommend booking. We had entrees and mains, all of which were lovely. Love this restaurant!! I've been 3 times over the last 2 years, only because I don't live in Palmy. I chose to drive to Palmy from Wellington after already driving 8 hours...

This place was recommended to me as I've been reviewing cafes all across Townsville. Now an I'm sure if you wanted to hang around and feel " trendy " it would be OK. waited far too long for them to finish their photo shoot and catch up before attempting my take away cold coffee. Maybe wait till you finish your back load of orders? Definitely not busy enough to be the issue, tell me if it's a10min wait-coffee not a priority. I see you microwave your food also? 🤢🤮 I'm probably just cranky but y'all can shove ya coffee up ya hoitie toitie never giving you another $1 There are far more better coffee bars than this let...
