5 days ago, purchased, for almost $11.00 mind you, a chicken wrap, purportedly heated up. Blandest satay ever. Chicken wrap was stone cold inside. Ingredients literally fell out of the actual "wrap" when unwrapped to eat. Left a review as this is far from the only time I've been left unsatisfied, and co-workers too. At owners request, who I find to be regularly quite abrupt, I removed that negative, but truthful, review and via email ( with the owner ) which all are screenshot'ed, was again, left bemused by the lack of the most basic modicum of manners and courtesy by way of no reply AND no "Thankyou" for removing an honest review at his request for another chance. So, trundled off again today to purchase, via a co-worker purchasing for me, another chicken wrap. Unsatisfied? Yes. Again, cold AF inside and still a satay that simply is bland. Honestly Sandwich Express, pick up your game. And, if wanting to again request our genuinely truthful review regarding service & products be taken down - when & if your service and product becomes in our opinion, worth the almost $11 asked - for a tortilla wrap containing ingredients which aren't fitting with what's advertised, please don't make such a request again as it will be denied - until service and manners improve. Try the signature sandwich - 'The Colin' - you won't be disappointed !! I got a great tip off from foodie 'sydneydinnerspot' on Instagram that when in Townsville you can get great fresh made sandwiches from Sandwich Express - and she wasn't wrong. I used to love this place. There has been a deterioration of quality. The coffee isn't as nice as it used to be, I was served a hot milk and sugar the other day, I wanted a coffee, lol!!! The fillings for sandwiches and wraps have been downsized and cheaper sauces. I don't know if its the owner or franchise who is doing this but you have lost a customer.
