The view here is fabulous. The tucker is pretty good as well. Service with a smile. It's just not the same since my wife passed. Edit; the poached eggs were hard. Please gang, Eggs Bene must have soft yolks so they run over the toast etc. Better next time, please. Cheers.

Many people at a large number of tables and chairs, maybe a bit too close together.. the bathroom facilities was a single toilet, which was a surprise considering the amount of people dining.. great view.!

Had lovely breakfast there. Food was well presented, but cafe forgot to plate up the sides that we ordered, and eggs were a touch over done. Overall a pleasant experience.

Although you would drive past this place and say it looks like a nice place to eat, my recommendation is that you keep driving. I ordered the corn fritters with crispy bacon and a poached egg. Now when you see it you go well this looks pretty delicious, and then you have your first mouthful and realise you just paid $19 for a tasteless, cornless( I think I found lime maybe 5 kernels in each of the 2 dried up flour paddies topped with not crispy bacon and a poached egg and a drizzeled ring of sweet chilli sauce around the plate edge.

It is a pet friendly place and the staff were very friendly, it's just disappointing that the food doesn't meet...

  1. Arrived just before 11am. Requested poached eggs and avocado on toast (over $20). Although what we got was fried eggs and avocado on toast.

  2. Asked for a glass of water and was told they would bring it out. Next minute they have shut the doors. We left before they brought out water.

I think it's safe to say the staff were more concerned about packing up and leaving. So they weren't bothered to poach our eggs as ordered and couldnt be bothered to bring a glass of water out.

Plenty of other places on the strand. I would not recommend this Cafe.

$24 for an omlette with 3 addings of your choice... and ended up getting just plain omlette (just egg)... had to take it back and ask for the addings that i paid for... the guy that took my order pretended to be busy instead of correcting the order, when i asked for him (i could see him in the kitchen) he ignored me, corrected order was returned with only 2 add ons not 3 as per menu... coffee was great!.... atmosphere is lovely... but that guy probably shouldnt be...
