Uncle Chan's Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Queensland

I went there after looking at the reviews here and with a 4.5 star rating was expecting a good meal. Unfortunately the food was a real disappointment and cost a fortune.

After spending over $100.00 on the meal we were unable to eat the sweet and sour pork due to it being really oily (sickening) and the chicken and cashew was the same. Fried rice was ok (still a little oily but edible) and the honey chicken scraped in.

We were all feeling a little off after the meal (6 of us) and even the next day. I would think twice about getting Chinese from here. There may be a better option down the road and I'll be trying out the other Chinese...

Only positive was the young lady who served me, very polite. Nasi Goreng was truly Nasi Boring. 2 bite size pieces of chicken, 2 bite sized pieces of lamb and 2 prawns for $24 and as bland as could be, lots of rice tho🤣. Honestly don’t know how this hole is still in business. And the audacity of the female owner to tell me I “ate all the meat, and bought it back”, and then refund me $10🤣. Told Old love, “you need it more than me obviously”, then she took my meal. (Probably to re-use the container of rice they just sold me for $24)…. Don’t waste you time here, go across the road to...

Disappointed. The lady who served us was rude and abrupt. I ordered steamed rice and she said back ‘fried rice’ I said no, steamed rice and she chastised me telling me I must tell her which rice I wanted, like it was my fault she got it wrong. The blandest food we have ever tasted. We tried 3 different dishes and all of them were completely tasteless. Will never go back here, the service was appalling and not at all friendly and sadly the food doesn’t make up for the lack of service. Shame as it was my first time here and I had been looking...
