After a long day of sightseeing around Robe, we were craving a comforting, succulent Chinese meal—and Dragon Village absolutely delivered. The restaurant features a large, open-plan dining area with plenty of seating, making it an easy and welcoming spot to settle into. We were greeted with a complimentary bowl of prawn crackers, a nice touch to start the meal. For entrée, I opted for the classic chicken and corn soup—hot, smooth, and exactly what I needed. For mains, we shared a spread of special fried rice, lemon chicken, beef in black bean sauce, and satay chicken. Every dish was packed with flavour, beautifully cooked, and served in just the right portion size—filling without being over the top. To round things off, I couldn’t resist a cheeky fried ice cream ball for dessert—a sweet and nostalgic finish to a great meal. The staff were friendly, attentive, and easygoing, adding to the relaxed dining experience. All in all, Dragon Village ranks right up there with some of the best Chinese food I’ve had.So if you’re in Robe and feeling over the usual pub grub, do yourself a favour and head to Dragon Village. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a hidden gem for Robe. Entree been away for a few days and are a little bit over the normal pub meals, fried goodies and feeling like choosing your dinner is a life changing decision. So we decided something saucy with fried rice would be perfect. We were correct! So, after being seated in the spacious dining room, tables well spaced and large. We perused the menu. I settled on steamed dim sims for entree. Two large homemade dimsims came my way with soy on the side. They were juicy and porky with enough seasonings to be Moorish.. yum. For mains we shared, fried rice, lemon chicken, beef with black bean and satay chicken. The serves were a just the right size for our party, with very little left over. Dishes were hot and the flavours just perfect. Prawn chips were delivered to the table free of charge. We wouldn't normally but decided... why not! Dessert was ordered...I had the banana fritter, with icecream and maple syrup... so yummy and so full! The staff were attentive and the room is tastefully decorated.

A very clean restaurant with lovely decor. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food is delicious and generous sized portions. We had Vegetarian Spring Rolls for Entree and for Mains we had Fried Kuey Teow with Beef; Mongolian Beef with Vegetables and Satay Chicken with Vegetables. All dishes were great! Definitely recommend.

Ordered steamed Dim Sims and Chicken Satays for entree, Dim Sims were cold and 2 tiny satays for $10.

Salt and Pepper squid as a main was also cold because it had been fried from frozen. The squid was cold, I squeezed it and water came out. Sent the squid dish back and all they did was fry the same squid again and served it to us. Soggy oily batter with a mushy squid centre.

The remaining main dishes, Crispy Beef, Kung Po Chicken and Chicken and Cashew tasted good but the serving sizes were unreasonable considering the price. $160 for our family of 4 with no alcohol, leaving still hungry and...
