Passing through Robe and stumbled into this great Bakery on the Main Street in Robe, not knowing it actually has won some awards from the Adelaide Royal Show entries. I was impressed with the whole atmosphere, upon entry it is a very upmarket look with really nice local artwork theme yet has a family friendly vibe. A nice clean dining area to sit indoors or outside. The staff are friendly, the bakery items and food selection available were fresh and delicious. The coffees & hot chocolates were proper cafe grade. The only fault is the place was very busy and there isn’t really a proper line up / ordering system in place - I’m not the tallest person waiting to be served and few pushed in ahead - which was rude- but the staff didn’t even notice! If my companions weren’t already seated I would have walked out, prize winner bakery or not. Also offers a selection of ice blocks & cold drinks for the kids who are after something refreshing /sweet after as well.

Located on Victoria Street in the heart of Robe, the Robe Bakery and Coffee Lounge offers a large interior with plenty of seating, making it a convenient stop for a break. However, the drinks fridge was noticeably sparse, with limited options available—a surprising amount of empty space for a venue of this size. I ordered a square pie and a sausage roll. The pie was forgettable: light on filling, with a crumbly pastry and an overall average flavour. On the other hand, the sausage roll was a step up, featuring good pastry and a decent, well-seasoned filling. Staff were pleasant enough, but overall the experience was a bit underwhelming. For a town like Robe, where you’d expect a standout bakery option, this one fell a little short of expectations.

Living on the road around our great country you visit a few bakeries along the way. This bakery was amazing. Ordered a plain meat pie and sauce, hot dog with the works and chicken and avocado baget. Drinks we had English breakfast tea, flat white and a strawberry milkshake. Oh forgot about the donuts - outstanding. The food blew our minds into the next world. The service was extremely warm and caring. Would highly recommend this bakery to anyone that is visiting the area.

Look, a bakery is a bakery, but when you step into a rural town such as robe, most towns alike have bakeries that pride themselves based off of store made/local products, and maybe I had too high expectations but I didn’t expect my pie to taste equal to a servo pie and my loaf of bread to taste exactly the same as foodland $1.90 white bread that cost multiple times the amount. If you’re after an average pie/bread, look no further, but you’ll get the exact same down the road at foodland for a fraction of the price.

If the owners see this, take this as constructive criticism, this bakery has a lot of public and historical potential to grow much bigger if even a little bit of what’s sold wasn’t outsourced. I get that an OTR or similar isn’t anywhere near, but it’s just sad to see such a historical bakery selling what I’m 99% was made elsewhere, let alone the bread...

Really sad and a bit angry for the service I received to day at this country town bakery that I would have thought needs all the support they can get . We were made to feel an inconvenience from the moment we walked in the door .Seemed a husband and wife team and that they had just had a fight .Everything was to much effort lots of huffing and puffing going on with everything we asked for and when we asked for a cold sausage roll the was just toward. I even said it's OK if it's too hard we don't mind .To be then snapped at ..he's coming .. He came and wow wish he didn't. She over charged us and when I questioned it I was made to feel like I ws just a woman questioning him. Even putting g his hand up to me .Rest assured I was calm and quite OK with them over charging just wanting to see if that had in facted...
