Robe Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Robe

Try to avoid this place by all means. We were told to wait 40 minutes just to order, and the place was not even busy. After the 40minute we could order, but had to wait another 1 hour and 15 minutes to actually get the food. We were thinking of leaving the place, but as we had to pay while ordering, and the refund policy being weird, we had no other options but to wait. Besides we had 3 young kids who were very tired at the end of a long day, and after the 40 minute wait + half an hour wait, it was already way past dinner time. So reluctantly enough we had to wait. The worst part was yet to come. The food was that were served were all cold and anyone would tell they were just merely prepared. We ordered soups ( Tom yum and chicken corn soup- which were honestly okay), chicken Thai fried rice, crispy fried noodles with prawn and Mongolian beef. The noodles and Mongolian beef were both served simply cold and the vegetables in them were almost raw. The Thai fried rice was on the colder side as well and it was basically oily-rice with dollops of ketchup. The chef didn't even see bother to stir the ketchup with the rice. When told the manager about the food, her reply was along the lines- you won't find a better Chinese restaurant in Robe- quite rudely. Definitely a no go for anyone craving for Asian foods, and especially if you are with kids, cause the management's attitude towards my kids were not very welcoming either. Dont go here ever!!! Poor customer service and the owners dont care! We walked into the takeaway section at 20 to 7 and stood at the counter for 10-15 minutes waiting to order. Meanwhile while waiting we heard a blonde girl yell to the Chinese owners when they asked her to serve us I'm not serving people I dont need To, she finally to our order which we chose a pack which was 48.90 for 2 people, she tried to charge us that price each. She took our order to the kitchen and they said about 40 minutes it would be ready, so we waited 50 minutes to be sure and went back and then was told another 20 minutes. A group of 7 of us chose to go here, aiming to give it a chance regardless of all the negative reviews. And all the negative reviews were 100% accurate. The service was absolutely horrendous, the waitress would put down the food and couldn’t even tell us what the dishes were. We had to request our food as we waited over an hour and upon request, they brought out our food but then argued that it wasn’t ours, and refused to give it to us.
