BC's Restaurant Roma — Restaurant in Roma

The restaurant itself is nicely set up, not a 6 stars restaurant but it is not your local pub or chinese take out. You wouldn't want to turn up in thongs and a singlet. The feeling of fine dinning soon disappears, when the lady staff yells to the Chef in an effort to communicate to the kitchen. The out of place and loud conversation went on for about a minute, as they yelled back and forth to each other from the kitchen to the restaurant floor. Making it very unpleasant to say the least. The price is a little more expensive, but it is reasonable as everything cost more in Roma. I am sure they pay more for all the ingredients, I know the price in the supermarkets in Roma are higher than Brisbane. We ordered coconut rice, it was more on the sweet side and for some reason the rice was yellow. Rice-white, coconut-white, white+white=yellow?? The food was very average, small servings on a large plate. Due to the size of the plate compared to the size of the food, it looked more like pot luck than fine dinning. We waited 1 hour after ordering and then received out desert first. Sent that away awaiting our entree then to receive our mains then had 2 bites to be given our desert once again then sent it away again while we ate our mains then 15 mins later our entree arrives to then try and eat steak with a butter knife and ask why entree was late and was told “we are slack with our mains tonight” and ended up walking out without desert as it was 2 and a half hours late. I will never recommend BC BAR AND GRILL. I could not believe this. This was a joke. On Valentine’s Day of all days.

Also the lady taking our order did not write anything down and we were given the incorrect order, told the gentleman behind the bar and still nothing was...

Decided we would come and have a lovely Thai meal here at BC's Restaurant. On arrival at the bar a lady ordered a red wine and was poured 2 wines .. the lady told the girl that she didn't want the glass thst she gave her as it was filthy. We bought a bottle of wine and Sat and ordered an entree - curry puff... this was ok but a bit doughy. We then ordered a Massaman Curry and one rice ... We were then told that as there were 2 of us sitting there we had to order 2 rice!!! This was just ridiculous. We then didn't bother with the meal at all and finished our wine and left.
