Firstly thankyou for a wonderful evening last night with an incredibly delicious dinner and many many laughs with funny man, Peter Rowsthorn.

I just want to respond to one of the below reviews (from Karl)...As we said on multiple occasions last night - we very much appreciated you moving tables to accomodate my friends and I (and her 6 week old baby - whom of which was sleeping majority of the night...not sure if that is a crime?)

Just to be clear - Your friend asked us if infact there was a baby in the pram and my response (after only having one glass of wine for your information) jokingly was "No it's just a bottle of wine" which was in reference to the wine that the venue was auctioning off for a good cause. Sorry you don't have sense of humour and shame on you for accusing us of pretending we had a baby in a pram to somehow gain a better seat? If that is what you were insinuating. To be honest it was not any of your business what the mother did (and in no manner was she unnattentive to her son). We had a fabulous night and even had a lovely chat to your friends. It's dissapointing that after such a nice evening (that we don't often get, as we are all young mothers with babies under 1) that something so misinformed and immature is said. Little Lefroy's don't deserve to be slandered for accomodating their patrons and you clearly need to take things a little more light-heartedly (it was a comedy night after-all)

Googled and Heading to Lefroy.. then read it ! An unplanned catch up so what do we do.. Google best brunch places in Freo and yes Lefroy comes in the list . So no brainer jumped on band wagon and went in for brekky.

We orderd French toast with fried chicken, the big Baja and the little brekky. French toast to start with was a scam. U get a slice of toast with 3 or 4 chicken Nuggets oki deep fried Nuggets. Do they look picture perfect yes ! Do they taste any good absolutely no.. it tastes average with the bland flavours. My bad they have left jalapenos for reminding there is a flavour in this dish. Sorry guys I had to rip into this dish.

Big Baja as the name says yes it was big again an average dish put together with nothing to claim on its name . But the side chips I felt was made from scratch and it a kickass. Ting ting chips wins ! Baja died !

The little brekky looked gorgeous and the person who had it gave a full thumbs up. The dish was simple and delish .

Best part was the coffee.. I have never had such a weak coffee . It was tasting more like hot water, blend 43 and cold milk. The milk wasn't even frothed to the right temperature .. probably the barista was crook and someone jumped in to help.. but there are reviews with the same issue. It was disheartening and I left it there untouched.

Service was great and the ambience is really cute . Let's say the universe was working against me today. I probably should have read...

Was extremely disappointed in my service today. The food was good and initially very friendly and welcoming. I specifically asked for a table for 1 and was given the option of a bar seat which i didnt want to sit as i wanted to be comfortable. I was then seated at a table for 4. I was eating and reading my book and had been asked 3 times if i was done, which i wasn't, at the 3rd time the manager had asked me and she pulled a face when i said no(which was a firm no as i had been asked 3 times) within minutes she came back asking if i would move as they had a larger group. As i mentioned before i didn't want a bar seat and just wanted to sit and enjoy my book. It doesn't matter how nicely you ask it will still make the guest feel unwelcome. And even though i wanted to sit for longer i left. And have been sitting on the bench outside!i received my food at 10.45 and at left 11.30 (i was made to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome 11.20. I dont feel i was there for an unreasonable amount of time, possibly you need to look at turning guests away if you expect guest to only stay 35 minutes after they receive their food.they did comp my drink but that made no difference to me. You really did ruin my day....
