Hi there, I tried sending an email through but couldn't find a contact email address. I stepped into this establishment today as I was on my way from South Freo and one of my friends insisted that I go try out these hot dogs. I was welcomed by a lovely cashier. The young lady helped me out with recommendation as it was my first time and so I chose The ratbag and added avocado/guacamole. I also opted for a portion of chips and a drink that I highly recommend to anybody. It was my first time drinking that limey Mexican soda drink and it was superb! :) Working as a waitress for many years previously myself, I appreciated a friendly face and without relentless sales trying me to buy more items. I thought the food was quite tasty, the cheese kransky was a great choice and the addition of avocado was a fab idea. Not sure what it would taste like without it but I would assume it would be missing it as with it it was perfect. The only critique regarding the hot dog I would have is that I would've preferred the cheese to have been melted under a grill for a few seconds rather than just have been put on top. The reason why I have given it a 3star rating is the following: I firstly ate the chips as was waiting for the sausage to cool down. The food came out 12.53 and until the last 4 bites nobody came to ask me how it was. Luckily it was yummy so in this case that wasn't such a big deal. What I found dreadful was that as I sat in the booths inside (I was the only customer there at the time) and the young cashier came to check on my food at about 1:05, she then stepped away and started moving the tables and chairs on the 'other side' of the restaurant (about 2m away from me). I tried to not be bothered by it and I was alright until another lady came and started sweeping the floor (like properly sweeping ..). I was still eating at that point and I literally stuffed the last few bites and stood up and left as I felt rushed and like I wasn't supposed to be there. And that was after I have pretty much upgraded to every possible option. I was a paying customer at an open eatery, at lunchtime. Sweeping the floor of the eating area not even 2m away from me was beyond inappropriate, even if I was the only customer!

Run Amuk in Fremantle is hands-down the best hotdog spot I’ve ever been to. I tried the Punk and the Reuben, and both were absolute standouts. The Punk had that perfect balance of smoky, spicy, and tangy that kept me going back for more, while the Reuben nailed those classic flavours with a gourmet twist, rich, hearty, and so satisfying. The buns were fresh and soft, the toppings generous but not overwhelming, and the sausages packed with flavour. You can tell everything is made with care. The vibe of the place is fun and quirky, the staff are genuinely welcoming, and the menu is full of creative options for every taste. "The quirky décor, especially the cars mounted on the wall, makes the whole experience even more memorable." Other reviewers call this place a must-visit in Fremantle, and I completely agree. If you’re in WA and haven’t been to Run Amuk yet, you’re missing out on the best hotdogs around.

26/10/24 - my first visit to this infamous spot in south freo. Probably should have done it earlier but always forgotten. We ordered Big Mac Dog with bacon - per the recommendations from the owner it was superb for me. Taste great similar to a big mac and the bratwurst was soft and tasty. The bun is soft and crunchy om the outside. Highly recommended with the bacon My wife had punk hot dog. The classic. She said it was good too. She is a big fan of hot dog so this is her favorite place to date! The chips to share. We cleaned it. Crunchy and freshly cooked. We prefer shoestring chips so this was perfect! We also had the homemade lemonade. We loved it and it was not too sweet. Will definitely came back for a different one. Nb: owner and staff was super friendly and attentive. This it self deserve a 6th star. Not many places does this anymore.

We turned up a little before it opened and the staff said we were welcome to peruse the menu and sit at the tables outside. So this we did, in great anticipation. We were shown the specials as well. Oh my goodness, we'd really been wanting to come to this place ever since we heard about it and we weren't disappointed. From the quirky "Where's Wally?" covered tables, to the wall of Matchbox cars, and the staffs' quick finding out of what was gluten free we enjoyed our wait. And then came the two hotdogs, and wow were they delicious! Very nice gluten free rolls, not your normal bland white bread, they were wholemeal and robust enough to carry the deliciously loaded contents. Cheese kransky, coleslaw, caramelised onions, cheddar, AMAZING bacon, bread & butter pickles, tomato sauce and Bavarian style sweet mustard is probably close to what was in our monthly special, can't remember precisely but that's close. Really good. We took them to eat at South Beach and that was a really fine lunch. We will return and make a valiant effort to eat our way through the expansive menu. Oh, and they said the fries were gluten free too, so they're great to drip your hotdog drippings on and...

Easily the best takeaway/casual eatery in Perth. There's an unmistakable quality to food where the people in charge have taken pains to ensure every ingredient is of the highest quality. I've been here at least 5 times in the last two weeks since discovering it, and I get the same high quality product every time - bread is always super fresh and beautifully toasted, the sausage has an incredible snap to it and is juicy and packed with spices and flavour. Every ingredient has its place in the dish and is treated with respect and love. Service is friendly without being intrusive and the passion of everyone involved is clear to see. Saw a comment about the price being high, don't worry about that. If you know what costs are involved in running any kind of food establishment, then you'll know that getting a high quality meal for $15-20 is ridiculous value. Can't speak highly enough of these guys, this place is my go-to for lunch when I'm out on the tools. Genuine...
